I would recommend this book immensely. My daughter when raw a year ago this past Thanksgiving, because of the Boutenko's first book I believe is called "Raw Family". The "Green for Life" fills in what they were missing from the beginning of their raw food lifestyle.

Well I guess I sit on both sides of the fence as I believe in the the whole foods method and love my vita mix machine- it is so amazing that it even does seeds, and I also love juicing when my friend invites me to her house and she has such a nice machine, that is also very quiet- she stated that her juices are made so well that they can last in fridge for the day( from halleluah acres )- boy they do taste so good as well.

I think it reminds me of those who take liquid vitamins and those who take them in pill form- yes they are still vitamins but with the pulp and whole foods it can sometimes take longer to digest and assimilate so if you want something very quickly absorbed you should do some plain ole' juice. I also believe that you need to listen to your body and what it needs.
Wishing everyone good health.

Regarding food blending, I am going to get the book by Victoria Boutenko, Green for Life. I've heard great reviews and friends who swear by it, are in fabulous health.

I think most women would benefit from blending. Think about it fiber helps to cleanse our systems. To buy fiber therapy at $12 or more is expensive, and completely a waste of $ if you could get the same effect by blending your fruit!
