So we have begun this journey together on this new day of this new year. Let’s take the opportunity to share our experiences in a way that encourages not only ourselves through the support of others, but as important to encourage others with our own support. Look to give just a little more than you take from this experience. Let’s take the opportunity in what seems like a self-centered experience and tanscend into a social benefit.
The process of the Ease-In is one that I have come to rely on. It is simply a mirror of the process of breaking the cleanse, or what I call the Ease-out. By slowly approaching the Lemonade diet (the main event of The Master Cleanse - the fasting days consuming only the lemonade), you can not only prepare psychologically and physically for the upcoming challenge, but you can also begin to train yourself for what should be a life-long change in your diet - whole grains, no processed foods, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.
Head over to the topic pages to post your experience today by midnight (12:00/24:00 EST). If you are not participating, or doing the cleanse but not registered, you call also post your comments and questions.
If you are registered, remember to post at least 100 words on each topic. Please begin each post with a Title including the day. For example:
<!– Day 1 –>
<!– Day 1 - Starting to Ease-In –>
<!– Day 1 - Here we go and I am so excited –>
Good luck everyone! Have fun and happy New Year.

My appetite, and my desire to over eat seems to be creeping back. I am not drinking as much water, and I think that is so important. It makes you feel full, and you are probably only thirsty when you think you are hungry.
More later.

I have a tiny tummy. I get full fast and it’s is awesome. I still get to eat, and enjoy the taste. I get satiated - the feeling of being full, and satisfied. This happens, quickly. I don’t have the need to over eat.
I am continuing to loose weight and inches.
I feel great.

If the Juice Feast is not a sustainable lifestyle then perhaps the Live Food, or Raw Food diet is.
Already many people do actively use this diet, there is much content available on the subject.
For me it is Fruits, Veggies, Grains, Nuts, Legumes and other NON-PROCESSED, and non cooked food.

Preparing for a new approach to a daily diet regimen always gets me thinking about Juicing.
A juice fast has been proposed by many as a compromise between a more difficult fast such as the master cleanse or a straight water fast.
Sometimes I wonder if a full time Juice fast, or Juice diet would be a way to go. Like a live food diet, you could get your needs met, and still have a vast range of flavors to choose from. Meanwhile you would get your nutrients mainlined into your blood stream without the need for heavy digestion.
Steve Pavilina has just completed what he called his “Juice Feast”. I like that term. It turns on your head the connotation of bad in a fast. Juicing is really quite enjoyable.
So here we are today and I am so excited about different flavours of juice.
I am going to start with Carrot, Tomato and Orange. In the evening I will try some Veggies.
Of course you can also make the soup as directed in the book.
