Five Weight Loss Foods That Fight Belly Fat

Many people struggle with unwanted belly fat. Belly fat is not only a cosmetic issue, but it can also put a person at risk for developing numerous health problems. Fortunately, there are a number of foods that can help fight belly fat.

Three cups of air -popped popcorn contains about three and a half grams of fiber. Additionally, popcorn is low in calories. You can lose weight by choosing low-calorie snacks.

Pears

A pear is another delicious food that is low in calories and high in fiber. Pears are also an excellent source of flavonols and catechins. These are two antioxidants that have been shown to help prevent fat storage around the midsection.

Peanuts

Peanuts are monounsaturated fat, which is a healthy type of fat. They are also low in saturated fat. The body has a much easier time burning off monounsaturated fat. Peanuts are also an excellent source of fiber and protein.

You should choose the peanuts without salt. It is important to note that peanuts have a relatively high caloric content. For that reason, you should limit your consumption to one ounce per day. A one ounce serving of peanuts is approximately one handful.

Pure green coffee beans are extremely effective at promoting weight loss. This product was featured on the Dr. Oz show. One of the members who tried this product was able to lose two pounds in seven days. Another member was able to lose six pounds in seven days.

There was a double blind study that followed subjects over the course of 22 weeks. The results of the study showed that the subjects who took the pure green coffee beans extract were able to lose 10 percent of their body weight. Interestingly, the subjects did not make any major changes in their diet or exercise habits.
