It’s Way Easier with the Support of a Group

For many of us, The Master Cleanse Experience is all about starting fresh, making changes and sharing with each other for support and encouragement. And since we all eat so much over the holidays, I have noticed that many people are likely to start the Master Cleanse after New Years, Easter, Summer Holidays and after Fall Holiday. It seemed logical to create The Quarterly Master Cleanse Group Cleanse.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore, we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

We also provide 5 topics to post comments about to further structure the advice and questions from our participants. Our entries on the these specific topics will act as a Daily Journal, open for the support of, and from the entire community. Each quarterly cleanse, we’ll reward all those who leave comments in general, but specifically, if you complete the entire Master Cleanse, and Journal Daily on these Daily Journal Pages, you’ll be eligible for some really great rewards.

Post Your Comments Each Day on These Diary Journal Pages

Dates for the Master Cleanse Group Cleanse Experience. If you must start the a day or two before or after our dates and you still want to participate, simply make your comments in your own journal using Microsoft Word or any other Text editor on your computer. Then simply post your feelings on the appropriate days and topics. Registration is always open for Open Classes, the day before The Ease-In date for each event.

Each Group Experience will start on the first FULL Monday (never the day following, but the next week) Following each major holiday or seasonal change of Winter (Christmas and New Years), Spring (Easter), Summer (Independence Day), and Fall.

Duration of the Group Cleanse

Each Group Cleanse will last 16 days including both the Ease-In, Lemonade Diet, and Ease-Out. The total time on the Lemonade Diet will be 10 Days. We start on the first full Monday after a major holiday. In my opinion the timing is the easiest after these major holidays, and on these particular days. This allows for us to Start the Ease-In on a Friday. The Lemonade Diet will start on the following Monday and conclude 10 days later. The Ease-Out will begin on Thursday and end on Saturday, leaving Sunday for the first full day of eating wisely.

Group Cleanse Comment Posting

Once you register (and even if you don’t) you can start to post your experiences on each topics pages by posting your comments to each page.

Most of all enjoy the experience and HAPPY CLEANSING…

Does anyone else notice the whites of their eyes look yellow? I noticed this last time I did the cleanse and now on day six it’s very obvious to me. Yikes!

It is day 3 for me and I haven’t noticed that. Yellow eyes is a sign of jaundice and is probably directly related to the cleanse. I will definitely keep an eye out for this.

I see this morning that I am down about 6! That’s a nice quick-start weight loss surprise. And I feel much better! I think I will go 14 days. Good luck to you, too. ;)

Anyone here having troubles registering for the forum? I registered on January 2nd, my first dayof the ccleanse, and I still haven’t been approved. I’d really love to see what others experiences are through the forum. If there is a moderator reading this my username is flashfire. Thanks

I am on Day 3 of the Lemonade Diet. I can not get warm even with layers of clothes and several blankets on me. Is this how everyone feels?

Actually, the same thing happened to me, especially on day 2. I fixed that by drinking more than a gallon and mostly the lemonade. I got a bad headache that lasted many hours, was cold the second day and very hungry and today has been the easiest.

Bad headaches are definitely a thing. Mine don’t seem to last very long, though. I did drink the entire 60 ounces of lemonade on Day 1, plus the Smooth Move tea 2x.

Also, I made the mistake of making an entire 60 ounces the night before to ready myself for the First Day. I read up on it later, so DON’T DO THAT. They said it is the reason many people fail at the cleanse. The enzymes from the juice HAVE to be fresh. (I should have remembered that from juicing.) You need to make it by the 10 oz glass or, if you juice a whole day’s worth of lemons (3 per day), DO NOT add the other ingredients. The cayenne pepper will ferment and make it unbearable hot. Today, I just juiced and made it as I need it. Also, do not put lemons in the fridge, leave them on the counter. The cold temp makes the enzymes inactive, according to the literature. Just thouhgt I’d keep others from making the same mistakes ;)

This is happening to me as well. I am on day 6 so I tried to heat my water up a bit more, which caused the cayenne to be spicier which eventually got me all warmed up. But only until my next drink. Normally I am a heat tank so I am just taking this as a detox sign.

I am on day two (started Jan 07, 2015) and I, too, and feeling cold. I understand from my reading that this is a normal reaction of your body. I’m not feeling hungry yet today and i just drank my SWF. I am very glad that I am laid off right now, as I don’t think I could handle my job with all this bathroom time, lol. I do feel optimistic and I aim to go the entire 10 days — possibly 14.

Starting my 2nd ever cleanse tomorrow. I did it around this time last year for my wedding. I’m really looking forward to it. The last time I did it was for 4 days and ate grilled fish & veggies on Thursday night. It really changes how you feel about food. My question is for the ladies out there. I’m going to be starting my menstrual cycle this week & was wondering how any of you have faired? Was it better or worse? I’d love some input. Thanks!!

Hi Monica, I began my 2nd master cleanse yesterday, January 4th, and I too knew my menstrual cycle was due this week, however I still went through with starting. Today is Day 2, and when I woke up I have severe menstrual cramps as my cycle began (which is common for me) so I debated whether to take Advil or not to ease the pain, although I know this cleanse is very restricted. I did take the Advil and I feel so much better this time. It is really not a big difference whether you are on your menstrual cycle or not while on this cleanse. It is also a plus that I have yet to experience my normal mood swings that occur when on my cycle, so as of now I am feeling great. Just 8 more days!!!! — I hope this helps you.

I was on my period last time I did the cleanse and it didn’t affect me one way or another. I avoided any OTC pain meds and just used a heating pad to deal with cramps.

Hi Rachael! I’m on my 1st cleanse ever, but I’m just ending day 5. I’ve kinda cheated, and had a glass of champagne, but have not eaten anything in a week. I find the SWF damn near impossible to get down, so I’m only doing it every other day. (Gross!) I have also been chewing gum while at work. My biggest challenge aside from the SWF, is trying to consume 6 glasses of lemonade a day!!! Does anyone else find this challenging??? I am also doing hot yoga every weekday morning at 5:30am, and I’m not noticing fatigue at all. I hate water so I only load up in either my lemonade, or class! I also find the ceyenne pepper way to much for me, so I just add a couple dashes. I’m half way through, and down 7lbs! Feels good, but I’m just praying that I’ll survive the rest of it!!!

Well, today was day 1 of my master cleanse. The only hiccup that I had today was getting down the 32 oz of sea salt water. It made me feel nauseas, but I got through it. I wasn’t hungry, but I would feel extremely cold. As per the book, I just drank more tea and felt better.
I am now about to drink my evening tea.
    One day down.

Hi. Im on day 1 also. How many days well you be doing it?

Angelique: I found the SWF easier if I had it in 2 glasses, and add extra water so it’s not so gross! I also have been drinking it through a straw, and I found it goes down faster.
Aside from the SWF, I found consuming 6 glasses of the lemonade abit challenging. Good luck.

Anyone started the cleanse on Jan. 1, 2015??? I’m looking for fellow cleansers that can help motivate me on making it through this! I stated easing in before the new year, and now I’m on day 2. Not eating is torture!!! I love food! I responded to a part, but then I realised it was an old one! (Duh!) Of anyone else just started the cleanse, please keep in touch!!! Thank you!

I started on Jan 1. This Is my first cleanse. The smell of food has been torture! My husband and kids continue with their normal eating habits. So when they’re cooking I retreat to another room in the house and wait it out. I just finished day 5 so I tell myself, “I’ve made it this far, so I’m not giving in now!” I can do this…we can ALL do this!

My partner and I are doing the master cleanse together. Tomorrow will be 5 days. The first 3 days were tough on him but by day 4 his headaches stopped. Does anyone know what some of the signs are that you’ve entered Ketosis? My tongue feels like it has a coating on it…. could this have to do with it? We went to the movies last night (day 4) and made it without popcorn! Drink before we left was the key. Smell of food is tempting but we are committed to 10 days minimum. I’ve done 20 day’s previously …… thinking I’m going to try for 40. We will see how it goes. Its great having a partner to do the cleanse with.

For those having issues with the SWF (salt water flush); a trick I learned is, before you drink it prepare a glass with 1oz water and 2tbsp make syrup. Once you drink the salt water immediately drink the maple syrup mix and it will relieve the salt taste and much of the nausea. Sweet counter balances salty.
    Just FYI.
    Good luck all.
