It’s Way Easier with the Support of a Group

For many of us, The Master Cleanse Experience is all about starting fresh, making changes and sharing with each other for support and encouragement. And since we all eat so much over the holidays, I have noticed that many people are likely to start the Master Cleanse after New Years, Easter, Summer Holidays and after Fall Holiday. It seemed logical to create The Quarterly Master Cleanse Group Cleanse.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore, we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

We also provide 5 topics to post comments about to further structure the advice and questions from our participants. Our entries on the these specific topics will act as a Daily Journal, open for the support of, and from the entire community. Each quarterly cleanse, we’ll reward all those who leave comments in general, but specifically, if you complete the entire Master Cleanse, and Journal Daily on these Daily Journal Pages, you’ll be eligible for some really great rewards.

Post Your Comments Each Day on These Diary Journal Pages

Dates for the Master Cleanse Group Cleanse Experience. If you must start the a day or two before or after our dates and you still want to participate, simply make your comments in your own journal using Microsoft Word or any other Text editor on your computer. Then simply post your feelings on the appropriate days and topics. Registration is always open for Open Classes, the day before The Ease-In date for each event.

Each Group Experience will start on the first FULL Monday (never the day following, but the next week) Following each major holiday or seasonal change of Winter (Christmas and New Years), Spring (Easter), Summer (Independence Day), and Fall.

Duration of the Group Cleanse

Each Group Cleanse will last 16 days including both the Ease-In, Lemonade Diet, and Ease-Out. The total time on the Lemonade Diet will be 10 Days. We start on the first full Monday after a major holiday. In my opinion the timing is the easiest after these major holidays, and on these particular days. This allows for us to Start the Ease-In on a Friday. The Lemonade Diet will start on the following Monday and conclude 10 days later. The Ease-Out will begin on Thursday and end on Saturday, leaving Sunday for the first full day of eating wisely.

Group Cleanse Comment Posting

Once you register (and even if you don’t) you can start to post your experiences on each topics pages by posting your comments to each page.

Most of all enjoy the experience and HAPPY CLEANSING…

Hi, I’m 5’4″ 185″ on day 6 and I feel great. I definitely have noticed my big belly not so bloated. I’m concerned bc today I went go #1 and it smelled sooo strong and it was bright yellow/orange. Is this normal? Am I getting a bladder infection? I’ve never had one but the smell and color is concerning. Has anyone had this?

4th day on the cleanse. Me and wifey doing together, hard to feed my 2 1/2 daughter, her food smells so good:)!
Feeling my senses more acute, smelling like a bloodhound! My skin feels better, no grease nor zits. I don’t need a daily nap all the time, lots of energy, but sometimes go low ! The laxative tea makes me really drowsy and the salt water flush(blah) taste bad. But works. If I have an early meeting can’t do it. If I drop from bed early (5ish) then in do the flush and nap again. The movement wake me up!
Lots of mucus coming out still, coughing spitting , but the sinus I had few days before start it is gone.
Was taking easy after the holidays and Wednesday night my wife propose me the cleanser . Togheter is better. I did no ease in and decided short notice. Thursday night o was very hungry and decide to start it there. Made some mistakes on Friday morning, was taking on the road just half serving, but that didn’t prevent me surfing 6 ft Makaha. Was bit concern about fatigue out there but never happened!

Day 4. Just completed the SWF. One 16 ounce bottle with the tablespoon of sea salt. Second 16 ounce bottle of water as a chaser. Definitely works better for me. Haven’t had a solid movement since I started the MC. Concerned about that. I was eating very, very poorly prior to the cleanse and am wondering when that waste will show itself. My energy has been great. Headaches went away after day 2. It’s just very hard to not eat anything at all. Had a few cheats. Two small bites of banana, 5 cashew nuts. No cheats day 1. Cheats on day 2 and 3. Honestly, those cheats got me thru mentally. It is will power but u also have to listen to your body. I will be strict to the cleanse today. Carrying my cleanse items wherever I go. Oh and I also chew small heart shaped ice cubes :-). Provides a nice cooling sensation and gives the illusion that I’m eating a crunchy snack.

    Loraine,

I use two level teaspoons of the sea salt in one quart of warm water. I believe those are the instructions from the booklet. I haven’t done the cleanse in a few years so you may want to double check the amounts.

When I drink it I chug a lug, take a few gasps of air when I need a quick breathe and continue to chug a lug. Then my stomach starts to churn about 15 minutes later.

@Mindovermatter – I tried the tea the first time I did the cleanse and all it did was cramp me up badly for days. It was terrible on my stomach. I read that some people are just really sensitive to Senna leaves so I just omitted it and stuck with during the SWF every morning. I always allow myself two full hours for elimination before leaving the house to go off to work.

I am on day one today. This was such a pleasant surprise to discover their is group online starting today.

Hey Bridget. Thanks for the response. I’m still doing the tea at night and SWF in the morning. The tea hasn’t cramped me thankfully. However, I only expel in the morning and I haven’t had a solid movement since I started this cleanse which is of great concern to me.

Started Day 1 of Master Clense today, have registered for the group clense I am in Perth Australia so I am a little ahead.

I tried to do this clense once before years ago but gave up after the 3rd day. I have been sick for a week and over it so decided this is a good time to this detox.
I am 42 year old female, hoping to lose some weight but mostly get rid of whatever this virus is in my body.
I am unclear on how to update the comments each day. Am I missing something is my oggy head sickness. Do I have registered for the group clense but that didn’t really tell me what to do as far as updating etc.

Is there many people doing the group clense starting 12th Jan?
    Thanks

      Hi Angela,
The headache or other symptoms will depend if you are weaning off certain things like caffeine withdrawal or it’s because you have toxins in the body that is now manifesting. Garbage in so garbage out, that’s what stuck in my head after reading Tim’s book.
Good luck to the both of us. I need a better will power. I lasted for 8 days the last time. I tried doing it last week but I was cheating with broth.
I intend to do a 40 day once I get past the 10 days.
      Take care.

Hi, I was hoping to join the group but I just realized the ease-in was supposed to be started Friday. I’m starting the ease in tomorrow but would still love the support I’ll just be a few days behind.

Started Day 1 today. Since I was home all day today, I wanted to assess how my body responds to this cleanse so I could be prepared to do it during the work day tomorrow. The SWF was the most uncomfortable part so far. Movements are Messy, frequent and gross. I’ve been having lemonade once every 2 and 1/2 hours. Not hungry, but my head is banging!!! Very intense headaches. It’s now 4:20pm and I’ve broken down and taken two Motrin (which works for me with headaches). I really don’t want to take any medicine during this clense. Any other ideas to help headaches subside?

Hi, in my experience, the headaches go away after the first few days. I think it has to do with the toxins released in the blood for elimination, not hunger. I am also a coffee drinker, so caffeine withdrawal probably plays a role in it too at the beginning. With headaches, I lay down and take deep breaths trying to block them out and go to sleep, hard to do if you are at work though.

Motrin worked in less than thirty minutes. Headache was gone! I felt good the rest of the day and also completed a 20 minute moderate intensity workout. Took the laxative tea before bed but didn’t have a movement until this morning post SWF. Should I be “moving” after the tea?

Two teaspoons non iodized salt in 4 cups of warm water. I pretend I am drinking broth.

DAY 1-I am starting the cleanse today. I plan on going at least 10 days but will probably stretch it out to about 14 depending on how I’m feeling.

I am going for the same. I am feeling really good now (Day 4), so I will probably go 14 days. I am 48 year old female, 5’4 and had gotten up to 145 lbs (I was 110 two years ago!). In four days I have gottten to 139, so the jump start on weight loss is a nice plus! I intend to get back into a good workout routine and get back into shape. I am feeling great and the headaches are subsiding. I even cook whole meals for my fiance when he gets home every night and it doesn’t really bother me as long as I drink my lemonade first!

I do have a question for everyone. How much sea salt to you use in your SWF? I had it in my head that it was One liter of distilled water and 2 Tablespoons of sea salt. Trust me, it works! However, that last swallow is hard to take. This morning I used one Tablespoon and it was much easier to drink.

Okay, I just read on this site that he has used both one Tablespoon some days and One teaspoon on others and that both work. Still, what do you guys do?
