It’s Way Easier with the Support of a Group

For many of us, The Master Cleanse Experience is all about starting fresh, making changes and sharing with each other for support and encouragement. And since we all eat so much over the holidays, I have noticed that many people are likely to start the Master Cleanse after New Years, Easter, Summer Holidays and after Fall Holiday. It seemed logical to create The Quarterly Master Cleanse Group Cleanse.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore, we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

We also provide 5 topics to post comments about to further structure the advice and questions from our participants. Our entries on the these specific topics will act as a Daily Journal, open for the support of, and from the entire community. Each quarterly cleanse, we’ll reward all those who leave comments in general, but specifically, if you complete the entire Master Cleanse, and Journal Daily on these Daily Journal Pages, you’ll be eligible for some really great rewards.

Post Your Comments Each Day on These Diary Journal Pages

Dates for the Master Cleanse Group Cleanse Experience. If you must start the a day or two before or after our dates and you still want to participate, simply make your comments in your own journal using Microsoft Word or any other Text editor on your computer. Then simply post your feelings on the appropriate days and topics. Registration is always open for Open Classes, the day before The Ease-In date for each event.

Each Group Experience will start on the first FULL Monday (never the day following, but the next week) Following each major holiday or seasonal change of Winter (Christmas and New Years), Spring (Easter), Summer (Independence Day), and Fall.

Duration of the Group Cleanse

Each Group Cleanse will last 16 days including both the Ease-In, Lemonade Diet, and Ease-Out. The total time on the Lemonade Diet will be 10 Days. We start on the first full Monday after a major holiday. In my opinion the timing is the easiest after these major holidays, and on these particular days. This allows for us to Start the Ease-In on a Friday. The Lemonade Diet will start on the following Monday and conclude 10 days later. The Ease-Out will begin on Thursday and end on Saturday, leaving Sunday for the first full day of eating wisely.

Group Cleanse Comment Posting

Once you register (and even if you don’t) you can start to post your experiences on each topics pages by posting your comments to each page.

Most of all enjoy the experience and HAPPY CLEANSING…

Started the cleanse yesterday. From experience the second day is always the hardest. I just remember the first time I tried it. I felt amazing after the first couple of days, I felt a burst of energy and my body felt so light. I felt such a strong sense of control, it was empowering. Well here goes second day and I’m having so many thoughts. I even dreamt I ate and was so disappointed. I hope to get through this so I can feel amazing again. I just want to be healthier and give my gut literally a good cleanse.

Started my cleanse this morning, and I must say I was prepared this time. I bought all the ingredients yesterday, squeezed my lemons yesterday and put them in the fridge. The reason why I did this, is i noticed this is the most time consuming task, is squeezing lemons. So I squeeze them right before I drink my tea, and go to my bed. So far im three glaases in, and I am feeling fine. I will keep you posted.

I started my ease-in this morning. I had a pineapple smoothie that was delicious. I am not one to use protein powder, and someone turned me on to using cooked (or canned) white beans instead. OMGosh……so rich and smooth. You cannot taste the beans at all. I also made a batch of no-oil no-tahini hummus. Will snack on that today and end with a pear/kale smoothie.

Hello! I am starting as an “Independent Newbie” this Monday, Dec. 14. I am doing the “ease in” now. Looking forward to comments posted from others who may be doing the MC around now. I’d like to join the group but have a big work meeting starting Jan 11th when the post-holiday group starts…so maybe I will join in the Spring!

I’d love to hear advice from any successful veteran MC’ers! :-)

Is it okay if I use Grade A maple syrup? I can’t find Grade B.

And can I drink Lipton green tea with honey during the MC process?

Looking forward for your help :) Thanks!

You can use Grade A. Grade B is better (the darker the better = more nutrients).

You can drink herbal teas, but not with honey. You can add a little maple syrup. Avoid cafeeien and non-organic teas. Avoid teas with dramatic functional effects (licorice root etc.)

        Hi Mike,
I work the graveyard shift at a hospital and as a nurse it can be physically demanding and draining. Any tips to keep my energy up while at work? We’re known coffee drinkers so what alternative can I have instead?
        Thanks.

          Hi Jane,

Managing work is always a challenge, and it sounds like your job might be extra tough (but certainly do-able). Have you considered waiting for a holiday? It actually makes for a relaxing vacation with less cooking and a sole purpose to soothe and heal. You should look at using a concentrate to make sure you have less work to make the lemonade and it’s fresh and useful… Regarding the coffee. You must kick it. Take the challenge to dial into your psychological and physical addiction, and the impact of the coffee on your body (both when you take it and when you don’t get it). Consider the results empowering information rather than a loss of a staple in your lifestyle. I sense a egoic connection between your personal image and coffee: “we’re known coffee drinkers”. The Master Cleanse sheds a lot of light in these areas. As for an alternative, drink herbal teas that have low to no direct medicinal impact (peppermint) etc. And if they do, they should be gentle, digestive, cleansing in nature. Camomile is another that comes to mind.
