Group Cleanse Support Topic: Detox and The Salt Water Flush (My Experience)

This page is a Support Topic Page for the Topic of Detox and The Salt Water Flush for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Support Topic: Detox and The Salt Water Flush

The Salt Water Flush (SWF) might be the hardest part of the Master Cleanse, but it doesn’t have to be. It is essential to the cleanse because it facilitates the detox by flushing your system. What is working and what is not working. How are your movements? Are they successful? What do they look like? Are they getting lighter or darker? Are the becoming more frequent? Do you have other signs of detoxing, like breakouts or white tongue? The Master Cleanse is about Detox and daily eliminations are critical to the success of the cleanse. Is this Detox Diet successful so far?

Night two for the salt water flush, it didn’t work last night but made up for it tonight. I’m having a cup of herbal laxative tea that I bought at the organic market on Sunday. I think it smells like marijuana. Doesn’t taste to bad.

I do feel like a cold coming on – started yesterday. I am feeling better tonight, hopefully the lemon keeps it at bay. Good night all.

MC Day 2 … it’s obvious I’m detoxing. I’ve been using the Smooth Move tea.

Had cramps several time and eliminated some nasty stuff!

And all is well and no side effects at all other than some cramping.

I started the tea the night before the master cleanse, I did follow the instructions on the box but had no results. I have suffered from constipation for long time which is one of my reasons for doing The Master Cleanse. Yesterday I used two bags and had better results, not as fast as other people might have but none the less it worked and that made me happy. For what I have read doing the salt water flush is what makes me nervous. I havr been thinling what is a salty food that I like so I can picture that while I drink it but have come up with nothing.

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 1 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> …. well… boy oh boy did I get a SIGNIFICANT jump start on DETOX!!!!!….. I went to a 3 day intensive healing seminar that helps with re-wiring mental, emotional, and energetic “blue prints” from negative thoughts and negative emotions to create space for the TRUTH of who we are!!!! … just wonderful people!!!! born with great purpose!!!!!…. holy smokes I did so much serious healing work!!!… and last night I kept waking up every hour and I could FEEL the toxins releasing from my body… today at work, a male who is keen on psychology, asked me if I lost weight b/c it looks like I lost alot and I look good… well guess what??? the scale needle not move… but I lost alot of negativity that no longer serves me… this will be the BEST CLEANSE EVER!!!!!!

    MC Day 1

I have my Smooth Move tea to take. I do enjoy the SWF, however, I will do that every 3rd day.

Both the SWF and the tea work very well.

    Day 1 ~ Lemonade Diet ~ Newbie
The laxative tea was taken last night right before going to bed. And let me tell you, it works! I have been dealing with constipation issues for a couple months and within an hour of waking I was eliminating. I didn’t do the SWF this morning because they said you can skip day one, so I did because that is a part I am dreading. But it is nice to know that drinking the tea (which is not the best tasting tea, mind you) does get things moving, and then the SWF will help clear it all out. At least that is what I am assuming!

    EASE OUT – DAY 3 – NEWBIE ->

just got home from work after being gone 8am to 11pm… worked 13 hr shift + 2hr total commute is 15hrs away from home… what the heck was going on with me today???? 2pm…. BOOM!!!!… felt like it was the beginning of a cold… but really it was my TMJ flaring… and my ears feeling like I was in an airplane with the air pressure shifts… but I know it was not a cold… then I still have some large wad of mucus in my nasal cavity that wants to release, but won’t let go… its like a big chuck of ice on the side of the mountain that’s about to give any moment and start an avalanche… but the stubborn stuff just won’t break free… I’m breathing fresh and clear… its just stuck behind my right nasal passage.. the entire 1hr commute home I was doing hard nasal breathing in and out but it did not break free… also my neck and shoulders feel like some detoxing stuff is temporarily stuck in there… I just want to go sleep this off soon…

Ease Out DAY 3 (Newbie) – I did not do the SWF this morning. I was running late and traveling a distance this morning so did not want to chance any accidents from not having the time to wait on it to kick in. I did, however, have 3 BM’s today. They were mostly solid. Very nice to do that on my own. The senna tea works well for me. My face and scalp is still breaking out. My toes are still going numb. My toes feel better in the morning but then the tingling starts up almost immediately after getting out of bed. I really do believe it is from my sciatica but will talk to the doctor about it asap.
