Group Cleanse Support Topic: Detox and The Salt Water Flush (My Experience)

This page is a Support Topic Page for the Topic of Detox and The Salt Water Flush for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Support Topic: Detox and The Salt Water Flush

The Salt Water Flush (SWF) might be the hardest part of the Master Cleanse, but it doesn’t have to be. It is essential to the cleanse because it facilitates the detox by flushing your system. What is working and what is not working. How are your movements? Are they successful? What do they look like? Are they getting lighter or darker? Are the becoming more frequent? Do you have other signs of detoxing, like breakouts or white tongue? The Master Cleanse is about Detox and daily eliminations are critical to the success of the cleanse. Is this Detox Diet successful so far?

I drank my smooth move tea later than usual last night so it took effect later today when I was driving. I had stop the car twice to make bathroom stops. Really strange poop long and stringy

Day 7, still passing formed movements. It’s always amazing how much poo we have stored in us. The intestinal rescue that I prefer to take during this cleanse.. gets all the pockets of the intestines cleaned out. there are stools with fingers… amazing

I felt the rumblings of the smooth move tea working about 4am. Eliminations are formed and moving…

I find my intestinal rescue (the herbalist.com) 1 tbs taken with water 5x day followed with my lemonade works best for me on the master cleanse. I always also have smooth move tea in the evenings. This combo is what has worked amazing for me.

hI All – My first experience with SWF was not pleasant. Actually, nothing came out. The saltwater stayed. So the second time, I waited until day 2 of MC before trying the SWF. Then it was a 3-hour wait before anything happened. What a relief. I tried it again, on day 3 and day 4. It became kind of clear on day 4, so I gave it up….

Starting the SWF again tomorrow (day 2) – based on last experience (3-hr wait), I am going to have to get up early for this.

Couple of Q’s though.. Should I do it each day until the end of the cleanse (day 2, 3, 4, 5). ?

And then – can I start the probiotics during the ease out?

I just drank the 32 ounces of salt water day 1. I almost vomited but the thought of having to drink it again kept me from throwing up. I already went to the bathroom once within 30 minutes of drinking it. Hoping to go again before leaving for work at 8:00 AM. I have to get up & make my lemonade soon.

Ease Out Day 1: So following my colonic that produced nothing last night, I was super curious to see what the smooth move tea was going to do for me this morning. To my surprise, I woke up having to go to the bathroom and I got a bunch of brown out, with some little small pieces of fecal matter. I was shocked! I really felt cleaned out! I really cannot help but wonder where that had come from, somewhere not in my colon perhaps? This stuff amazes me! After about two hours from drinking my pulpy orange juice, I produced what seemed like a good amount of waste due to it, but I’m really not sure. Later in the afternoon before work was over, I had another BM which actually felt solid coming out. This was exciting! It was very light in color and had some forms of round balls and the rest pretty loose and it looked like it disintegrated once it hit water. I was happy to know that my digestive system is up and open for business as it responded to the orange juice very well! To really help eliminate toxins, I got a massage and used the infra red sauna afterwards. I sweated so much, it felt awesome! I love detoxing, it’s so invigorating!

The Master Cleanse Day 10: It’s saying I sent this already and do not se it: I started my day off with a medium brown BM as a result of the smooth move tea. This almost discouraged me from stopping the lemonade portion today, even though I look forward to ease out. I decided I was going to wait and see what the salt water flush was going to bring about, since I hadn’t done it yesterday. I was again happy and discouraged to see that I had a light brown mucus BM for the first one after the SWF followed my mostly lightly colored liquid until I was done going. I’ve been seeing a lot of bright yellow colored BM and decided to read up on it, which then led to me wanting to do a colonic to see what was left in there, I couldn’t wait! I booked my colonic and was very pleased to literally have nothing come out of me. There was maybe a couple two second bouts of yellow, but that was it, 99% water! I did about two and a half tanks (20 gallons) of water in an open colonic system. This was my confirmation that I was ready to ease out and I feel great about my decision. I am still curious what will come out tomorrow morning following my smooth move tea. I’m really looking forward to easing out, eating healthier and planning the next time I am going to do this cleanse again!
