Group Cleanse Support Topic: Psychological and Emotional Effects (My Experience)

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Psychological and Emotional Effects for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.
To learn more about the value of Group Cleansing, check out this report.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

What is going through your mind? We have thoughts that seem out of control when we are in our daily grind – many of these revolve around food. We may also feel stress that in turn causes us to eat, to have emotional reactions. Many people report feeling in more control while doing The Master Cleanse – alongside a sense of clarity. Do commercials about food drive you crazy? Are you more patient than ever?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 4 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> Spent time with a friend today who is also struggling with deep emotional wounds that is impeding success in all areas of life… I’ve been struggling like this too for a very long time…. the lesson this week:::: I can just SNAP my fingers, and LET IT GO!!!… it’s that simple…. but Will I? Have I?…. it’s not a matter of “CAN I”…. I can just snap my fingers and let it go… but WILL I and HAVE I is the true question

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 3 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> right now in my life I am doing DEEP DEEP DEEP WORK… and it all started this July in the month of Cancer season… just perfect for clearing out emotions… and I have been going to a group working on coping with “trauma”… its a skill based course… and I went to a healing seminar where our “blueprints” of thoughts and emotions are “reset” to help let go of the past… many methods used during that 36hr course in 3 days… mostly the Sedona Method… to be honest… I am realizing I really do not have to pay all this money and go to all these courses… I can just SNAP my fingers and let go of what I want to release… but then again, it was the seminar this weekend that helped me realize that releasing can be just that easy… its all about really being ready to let go.. and I’m ready…

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 2 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> Emotional!!!! YES!!!!!!! … I am a Scorpio so emotional by nature! Yesterday I could not talk to anyone about anything. It affected my work! I was aware of my SIZE and NOT happy with it!.. .but I did seek out support from 3 different friends after 9pm!! I feel so RAW and VULNERABLE… I don’t want to be seen! I wore vibrant colors to work and had compliments all day, but I really want to wear black and shrink into a cave or cocoon so people not see me!

Day 2 – Tues 7/15 – I was gone from home from 6am to midnight — also, there has been a series of rain storms in our area and flash flood warnings and high winds… so our internet service was down… and I only have internet on my pc, not my cell phone… so I am committed to the journaling… just had to wait to early morning to post Day 2 because of all the technical difficulties

Day 2 is not so hard – with this being the second time, I do know what to expect. I did it the first time and I can do it again. Only eight more days to go. I haven’t decided but I think I will do 14 days instead of 10. I was considering going vegetarian after I completed the first MC, but I decided I like New York Strip too much. Good Luck everyone

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 1 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> ok, ok… why do I call myself “newbie veteran” and not just “veteran” or not just “master cleanser”…. well I still have much to learn… i still not feel I have any mastery with the salt water flushes (SWF), even though I have done them.. but I was not consistent in the past with SWF cuz of working and not able to go to the restroom at leisure.. it will be a challenge again for me… i still newbie b/c I not feel expert… what I do feel is that I am humbled by this process… and amazed at Stanley Burrough’s brilliance, and the brilliance of all the others who have helped make it more simple for us, like Tom Woloshyn and Mike Olaski (thanks Mike for this MC forum!)…. so emotionally I feel I am in a very good place to do this round of MC cleanse!…. I have confidence of success b/c I have done this already… yet I feel humbled to know I will have more layers of learning this round! I’m excited for all the fruits!… and most of these fruits are “etheric” and unseen (emotional/psychological)

I read someone’s comment about a month ago – when doing the salt water flush it’s a mind thing, Think of it as drinking a bouillon cube. Hope that helps, it helped me.

    MC Day 1

    Psychological and Emotional effects.

It really is important to psych yourself up to make it worth while and beneficial.

I use my “ugly” cellulite as a motivator. I imagine that having the fat being flushed away will improve the looks of my legs and I am using my Total Gym to build muscle as well.

I am a newbie and on day 2. First day was more challenging with hunger pains but day two is more emotional. When I stressed the first thing I wanted to do was eat something. And this evening was a rollercoaster of emotions and I so wanted a glass of wine. Tomorrow will be better. Really starting to become aware of my thoughts, emotions and actions now.
