Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Process and The Lemonade Diet for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

    Ease-in day 3

    woke up at 8am, so I did sleep 8hrs from midnight to 8am…. wanted to go to bed earlier after long day at work… but so many other things I had to do before sleeping

    no time for warm lemon water… made 60 ounce MC lemonade recipe… took a salad…. only MC lemonade til 1pm, then ate the small salad… at 5pm I was feeling peekish, so I went to the store and bought organic raw whole cashews…. its the only nut I eat without soaking/sprouting it first… only ate a handful of cashews.. .did NOT get enough water today… plan to drink lots of water tomorrow

    Ease Out – Day 3

    I’m feeling good today I didn’t do the OJ like suggested I did drank liquids and had plenty of water. I lost about 12 lbs and feel good inside, My body is feeling good, my stomach went down and I don’t have the indigestion. I just didn’t want to do the juice because of all the acidity I had with the lemonade and it did a job on my teeth with the sensitivity. I do see the difference since my cleansing I have noticed a huge difference in my body. I am going to start taking the probotics as suggested. I am glad I did finish and feel a sense of accomplishment making it to my goal to complete the master cleanse.

    EASE OUT – DAY 3 – NEWBIE ->

    just got home from work after being gone 8am to 11pm… worked 13 hr shift + 2hr total commute is 15hrs away from home… woke up at 5.30am and started my day with 24 ounces of warm lemon water… then made 1/2 gallon of lemonade which I sipped on until NOON… 12pm-2pm was so busy at work that I could not even drink water or lemonade… so at 2pm I was feeling like I had low blood sugar…. so I took 15minute lunch break and had a raw vegan salad: spinach, yellow sunburst tomatoes, red tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, black olives… extra virgin olive oil as my salad dressing… I really wanted to add minced garlic but was afraid my breath stink to much at work.. ate half the salad for lunch, 1/2 of it for dinner.. then had 1/2 Hail Merry’s raw vegan coconut pie… well I was very rich… but my body handled it just fine and it tasted so good!!!

    Ease Out DAY 3 (Newbie) – Today we left early for 2-day camping so last night I made salads in mason jars, as seen all over Pinterest. Only, I put them in sandwich size Ziplock bags because it isn’t a great idea to take glass out camping. It was a good thing I did because the menu for today and Sunday was ALL take out food. Crazy…that is not how I campout but we were there helping a large group of Cub Scouts. I had a lot of pre-cut veggies (red onions, white onions, zucchini, squash, and red, orange and green bell peppers) served with leafy lettuce. Yum! and so easy to prepare several days worth. For breakfast I had more of the squeezed orange juice. I had plenty of purified water and a carried my filtered water bottle. Very easy.

    EASE OUT – DAY 2 – NEWBIE ->

    after sabotaging myself yesterday by eating cooked vegan food on Ease Out Day 1 and giving myself painful acid reflex and heartburn in the process, I realized that I don’t want to fail, and I don’t want pain in my body… planning to pay attention to my body more… so today I just felt like starting a Lemonade day…. 1st thing in am I had 24oz warm lemon water at 6am … then I drank 3/4 gallon of Lemonade from 7.30am to 2pm. Then 2pm I was hungry for real food… I brought red grapes to work, but I did not eat them, I wanted salad… I only ate 1/3 of the bowl of raw vegan salad and I felt full… then 8pm I was hungry again, so I ate the other 2/3 of the salad… I paid attention to my body today… it was a different kind of Ease Out… not according to Hoyle, but it was self care for my body

    Ease Out DAY 2 (Newbie) – I had some OJ left from yesterday and so drank that for breakfast, and then again a small cup around 11:30 AM. I didn’t get to eat broth until about 2pm and was pretty hungry. I drank some more chicken broth for dinner tonight. I wanted to make vegetable soup from fresh veggies but my husband made homemade chicken noodle soup and made me some extra stock. I still have my pre-cut veggies, olive oil and salad for tomorrow. I am still going to drink my Smooth Move tea tonight before bed. I love hot tea now. My energy has been good today.

    Ease Out DAY 1 (Newbie) – This AM I juiced 6 extra large oranges and got quite a bit of juice out. I added purified water and 4 oz. of grade B maple syrup to make 2 liters (2 quarts) of orange juice. I was also preparing to make chicken jerky for my son’s campout this weekend and so cut up some of that beautiful orange peeling to put in the dehydrator as well. Reading about eating and living cleaner has got me looking at all parts of food differently. I figured I could use the dehydrated orange peel in so many different ways – cook with the orange zest, add the peel to water to flavor (without all the extra other things like Kool Aid, etc.) and yes, use for cocktail drinks. My orange juice was a nice change. I have never juiced my own OJ before and it is definitely lighter and less sweeter than store bought. It is still good. I am still drinking my Senna tea tonight. I love hot tea now and look forward to trying other healthy choices like flavored green teas.

    EASE OUT – DAY 1 – NEWBIE ->

    Well, I saw the recipe for the OJ + syrup….. but that’s not how I eased out…. I woke up 5.30am and had to hit the ground running with my day… which was in front of a computer from 5.30am-9.30am taking care of business… so I started my day with warm lemon water, we had 3″ of snow on the ground so I felt like something warm… then I had one glass of lemonade drink… cuz I really did to have time to juice any fresh citrus… then I it was around 10am when I was able to have fresh squeezed organic grapefruit juice… it really hit the spot and I felt my body feeling all tingly… I ate some grapes in the afternoon very slowly

    Day 10: Lemonade

    I finally feel like I got a handle on it and it’s almost over. Yesterday was the easiest day by far. I may stay on for another day as I’m feeling good now and love this stage. The clarity of mind and mellowness I have is something I don’t want to give up just yet. The weight of food and how it makes me drousy, I’m not looking forward to. Maybe I’ll try that “small portions” idea. Veggies only after the MC. I hope you guys all keep posting your progress on here. I will, too. It does help me:) Thanks, guys for being here!! I would not have made it all the way through without you, I know, so thank you.
