Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Process and The Lemonade Diet for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

My 1st day and all went well. This is the second time I am participating in the detox cleanse. I know what to expect; food calling out to me, fast food joints in my face at every corner I drive by and hunger begging to be satisfied. However I kept busy today and stayed focus to my goal; to stay in control calls for discipline and fasting helps align the priority.
    Thank you for listening.

Well, day one behind me. I am surprised at how well I am doing. The lemonade tastes great and I haven’t been hungry. Starting to feel that “lighter” feeling I know I enjoy. To be continued.

    MC Day 1

This is my 3rd time doing the MC…I just completed my 2nd MC approximately 3 weeks ago. I was on Day 3 when I found this website and decided that I would do it again with the group.

During the 3 week interval I ate 90% Raw foods. So the ease in was fairly easy except on Sunday. I did cheat a bit…

I was expecting it to be more difficult this time given how recently I did the last MC…however, the lemonade itself was quite good. I am however really tempted to
    eat something…

Cooked food really is like heroin…hard to get off your mind. This forum helps to continue with the plan as it is designed!

Good luck all and happy cleansing.

This is my second time doing the master cleanse. I felt great the first time and I am looking forward to that feeling again. I got all the ingredients yesterday. I am doing the herbal laxative tea this time as well as the salt water flush. Let’s see how it goes. The last time doing the cleanse I used grade A maple syrup. I went to the organic market this time to find grade B. I’m also using all organic lemons. I squeeze them all and have I think enough juice for at least three or four days. This makes it easier than getting up and preparing everyday.

Day One Lemonade Diet (first cleanse) – so far of which I’ve got all the ingredients and the spice is causing me to have mass sneezing fits :( although I’m sure I’ll adjust. I’ve been using boiled tap water and enjoying the drink hot, over in England tap water is supposedly more purified than in America/Canada is this okay or should I move onto bottled water?

    Day 1 ~ Lemonade Diet
So I didn’t do the Ease in. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. As a matter of fact, I found myself eating everything on the Sunday before and I just couldn’t help myself. Granted, I didn’t eat a ton, but I didn’t limit myself to soups or juices either. I even had a Weight Watchers Ice Cream bar right before bed as my “saying goodbye to food” moment. I did test out the laxative Saturday night before bed so I could tell on Sunday what it would be like and I am glad I did. So, I am entering into Day 1 with a positive attitude and hoping for the best!

    Lemonade Day 1

I have ready a lot already about this MC but I am wondering is it wrong to add more water to each 8oz glass. I just usually drink about 12-14 in a sitting and curious to know if that would have an effect on how this MC will work.

For now I am sticking to the book to a “T” just to make sure I have better chances of success.

    Happy Cleansing!

    Lemonade Diet day 1

I did not do the ease in as I’m already a vegan who eats very clean. I’m hoping to lose the last bit of my meat eater weight and maintain a clean vega lifestyle long after the cleanse. I also plan to cleanse every few months for maintenance. I’m no stranger to fasts and juice cleanses but this is my first time master cleansing. I just had my first Lemond and will be using Himalayan sea salt for the flushes. I actually liked the lemonade!!

    Lemonade Diet: Day 1
I’ve previously done juice fasts which I really enjoyed, but I can see this is going to be more difficult with the monotony. I think I’m the only person who actually enjoys the taste of the salt water flush! lol! I put ice in it and think of it like a Bloody Mary.

But, I’m already having some difficulty with the lemon/cayenne/syrup flavor. I feel hungry, but don’t want to drink more lemonade. Although I know I have to for the energy and nutrients. Debating on whether I should add some green juice to the mix. I may do that.

Lemonade Diet Day 1: This is my 3rd time doing the MC and am trying an organic pre-made powder rather than the ingredients. It is simple (just add one scoop of powder to 8 ounces of water). I have not done the MC in a few years so I had forgot about that feeling of hungry and sore stomach that I experienced today. Though I would love to eat some of the popcorn my husband is making right now, I know that I must persevere to the end! Only 9 days to go :)
