Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Process and The Lemonade Diet for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

I have made the lemonade mix of lemons and syrup to take to work, I add the water and cayenne at work and it really helps me through when people are eating delicious things in front of me. I thought it would be a little bit harder but it whas been great so far.

MC Day 3…After I posted last night…I found that I was very tempted to want to go eat something. However, I trusted the process and kept reminding myself that the cleanse was the most beneficial thing to be doing.

So, I made another lemonade to keep me full and then I had my laxative tea.

I made it through the rest of the evening just fine.

I am on the 3rd day of the Master Cleanse and feel good. Getting plenty of lemonade in my system.
I have to work during this fast, so what it have done to be sure I drink plenty of lemonade is I make a tray of distiller water ice cubes, and an ice cube tray of fresh lemons juice (4 lemons) diluted with 1cup of distilled water. Both trays make up 16 cubes (one ounce each cube).
I half each tray once frozen, place inside a ziplock bag and take it with me to work. Once I have finished my first “BigGulp” (46oz.) then I place my lemon/water ice cubes inside my big gulp along with my maple syrup and pepper….wha-la! I have my drink already and never miss a beat to being without my Master Cleanse.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I add distiller water to the rest of my ingredients to fill up my “Big Gulp.” This adds upto 46 oz. of liquid.

Day 3 of the lemonade diet (detox)
I’m starting to feel a little bit better, not as hungry as day 1 and 2. Yesterday I had a terrible headache but it’s gone now so I feel better and more energetic. It’s not as hard as I thought but it’s definitely not easy either. The hardest part I must say is having to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner for my family and not eating. Looking forward to the rest of the cleanse :) so far so good :)

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 2 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> Yeah ORGANIC LEMONS!!!! On Day 1 I could only buy 5 organic lemons (large one’s thank goodness) to start my day! Day 2 I bought 2 large 2lb bags. The bags cost $5.99 for 2lbs. good price. The individual ones are $1.69 a pound, or was that $1.69 each???? Anyway, I have two bags right now and will make sure to place an order tomorrow with local produce to avoid RISK of not finding any. I’m not the only one in my tiny town wanting organic lemons and they go pretty quickly!

Day 2 – Wasn’t hard, even though a co-worker was taunting me with her turkey sandwich – I just guzzled my lemonade and flipped her off. I make 2 bottles to take to work with me, one for breakfast and one for lunch. I know I’m supposed to drink a third but by the time I get home and get the grandson settles and he and the husband fed I really don’t feel the need for it. Well good luck everyone.

MC Day 2 has been super easy. Not nearly as hungry or focusing on food.

I make my lemonade 1 glass at a time…it’s quick and effortless.

This is my first time doing the TMC and I plan to stick through the whole thing.Yesterday I started the cleanse and I was afraid of breaking the cleansing because of hunger. I didn’t want to see people eating, everytime it was time to eat I walked around and drank my lemonade. I liked the taste and even though it was spicy, I did look forward to drinking it. I love spicy foods and that helped a lot. My intention is to do it for more than ten days but everything will depend on how I feel during the later days.

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 1 – NEWBIE VETERAN ->…. This is my 3rd time to do the Master Cleanse with this themastercleanse.org/group online…. 1st time Fall of 2013… 2nd time January 2014…. and now, again, July 2014….. each time I learned more about the Master Cleanse process, the lemonade diet, myself (alot about my self awareness), and tips to be prepared and out the door and successful while being away from home for very long days… each of these 3 times, I posted every single day in all 5 categories and will do the same… today was the VERY FIRST TIME I went to my local store and only find 5 organic lemons!!!!! 5!!!! ggggrrrr… but I made it work til I could go shopping again… I was out of town this weekend and did not go shopping last night, so I was shopping at 6.30am this morning, and I usually fresh squeeze my fresh Lemonade Drink at work…. but only 5 large lemons… but it was enough to get thru the work day
