Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Process and The Lemonade Diet for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

There is no question that we are coming to an end to the process.

And I am excited about how easy the process went.

Living in a major city makes it easy to get the items needed for the cleanse.

And I’m glad we’re down to the wire!

    Mc Day 8

Well, we’re well over the hump…only 2 days to go!

Yahoo, it’s been pretty smooth so far…no issues getting the items that are needed and everything keeps well.

On busy days, I can make the mixture ahead of time and then mix my water and cayenne with ease.

    The process works!

    MC Day 7

This has been very easy. The lemonade works…my body seems to be getting enough minerals and vitamins that it’s making it easy to stay in the process.

I have been drinking six to eight glasses (8oz) of lemonade and couple more of purified water. I remember it was mentioned that the only way to cheat was with the tea, so I am having my tea before I drink my laxative tea. I like the taste of them, so it is not hard to drink it.

The process is simple. Today I will get enough lemons for the last 4 days so I complete the process with power.

    MC Day 5

Well today I’m finding it hard to get all 6 glasses of the lemonade down.

It’s almost 6pm and I’ve had 3 glasses. I’m not hungry and I’ve had several bowel movements today…so I know I’m detoxing properly.

My goal is 6 a day and I will have the rest before I go to bed.

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 4 – NEWBIE VETERAN-> This morning I did wake up telling myself DO THIS RIGHT!!!! I even started re-reading Stanley Burroughs book again… and followed the recipe exactly as I should for 60 ounces of water (64 ounces is half a gallon of water)…. MY OH MY the flavor was just wonderful!!!! I enjoyed it so much!!!! … all my prior batches were too much lemon juice and not enough cayenne or not enough maple syrup…. so today I learned a valuable lesson that following the recipe “according to Hoyle” does make a difference!!! I enjoyed the lemonaide mixture so much more today and I drank those 60 ounces in just two hours time! wonderful!

LEMONADE DIET – DAY 3 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> went to the store today to purchase more purified water and asked a produce crew member how often they get in the organic lemons in the 2lb bags. He said, “every other day, unless the grower can’t fill the order for shipment”…. so that’s good news… fortunately for me I have a wonderful store just ONE mile from my home with so much organic produce it makes me very very very happy just thinking about it and going there!!!! … many people have fun doing all kinds of activities… but fun for me is seeing beautiful produce and walking around it… and I love love love organic lemons!!!! even today I bought myself a hand citrus reamer and new cutting board that’s all yellow in the shape of a lemon! it’s cute!…. oh and I bought a miniature organic cayenne from Whole Foods spice rack!
