Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Process and The Lemonade Diet for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

I am one day ahead of the planned start of Monday. I did not want the first day drinking Lemonade to be a work day so I started the process last Thursday. I have done the Master Cleanse many time but have only used one day of prep. I can already see that the three day lead in is much better, I feel more physically and psychologically prepared today than I normally do. I am hoping that the three day lead in also makes day 3 less difficult. I found the Grade B at Whole Foods. Glad to have a group to share the experience with.

Okay, well I’m Cathy and it looks like I may be the first to post for the January 11, 2016 group.

I am a veteran cleanser, though my health prevented cleansing for the past few years. It is the day before this current cleanse begins. This is the first time I have followed the 3-day Ease In process. The orange juice today is divine! I juice it instead of squeezing. So good! I’ve got all my stuff and I’ll be sipping my detox tea tonight at 8pm.

    Let the cleanse begin…

    Day 2:

This is my second time doing the cleanse. Day 1 was pretty easy as I didn’t really feel hungry and felt pretty excited about the whole process I was beginning.

Today, day 2, has been much harder. I have felt pretty weak and have had a headache most of the day. I woke up at 3am from the detox tea and had an unpleasant experience with that. After finally going back to sleep, I ended up missing my alarm and didn’t wake till 9am, at which point it was late, and after the SWF, I was only able to start my lemonade drink at 10:30am. I’ve had 6 drinks so far, but I’ve felt pretty weak all day. I am hoping I feel better tomorrow.

Anyway, if anyone is doing the cleanse right now, I’d love someone to talk to about all this. Hoping everyone is having a good time through it all!

Well I can admit the first 3 days of Ease in and the first 2 days Lemonade Diet was really rough especially because I had to cook for my husband and go grocery shopping! Oh how I wanted to snack and buy things for me. But kept thing no you are going to do this! Note to self when doing this never go into a store that offers samples Its Torture! haha… After the 3rd day in the LD-MC I was able to get through it all. I cooked for my husband and missed all the lunch and learns food at work. Lost 7 pounds so far and I am on my day 7 of the cleanse. hope I make it through the Halloween party on Friday! Wish me luck!

I did it!!! I am on ease out day one!! OMG! fresh squeezed orange juice has to be the nectar of the Gods. So good after ten days of lemon juice. I decided though that I will drink a lemonade every morning I think. To keep me reminded of the strength it took to do the cleanse. I hope this will keep my eating clean so i don’t fall back into starch hell. I am kinda scared now to go back to preparing foods, even though I miss eating so much, I am already collecting the ingredients today for my beautiful salad tomorrow!! YAY!

Day 3. Got a pretty ugly headache. Figured it was because I’m missing caffeine. Already lots 5 lbs. That’s exciting! I also started drinking my drink later in the morning than I should have. All in all, not hungry but miss the act of eating maybe!

I couldn’t start due to stomach problems. I am still doing the lemon cleanse with about 3 drinks a day. But until my stomach problems stop, I have to eat a banana, some rice and chicken broth every day. Hopefully it will be gone in a few days and I can do it without anything else.

Day 3 here. I started before I found this site. You can get grade B at Trader Joes here in California.

I’m so glad I found this site. Container? Better look that one up. Good idea, as I didn’t have anything with me yesterday and didn’t get home till 10pm and took a 2nd lemonade drink then. No wonder I felt funny. Good luck to everyone.

Ease in day one. I am going through my list and making sure I have everything. I don’t want no excuses. I am planning on even if I have to leave a back up plan. Looking for a dark container to carry my emergency lemon juice and maple syrup in. I looked in different stores and all they carry is grade A maple syrup. Looking for a liter container for my flush and a container for my lemonade. Went to Sam’s got water
