Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Process and The Lemonade Diet for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

Day 4. The process is easier now, almost like a routine. I got a lemon juicer that sits on top of a mason jar so it is very simple to mix straight in the jar. I did my cayenne in a separate shot glass with lemon aid so I could enjoy the plain lemon aid. I will keep doing that because I can handle one big gulp of cayenne, but sot sipping it.

My day two I was at 530 am to make my husband breakfast and lunch and also to drink my saltwater flush. Then I went back to bed until my first movement hit about an hour later. I drank about 8 lemonades and worked out at the gym.

Day 3 was different in that I didn’t pass very much after my salt water. I had two small movements (ahhhhh! So embarrassing talking about this!!!) but I felt like I retained the majority of the quart. This made me feel heavy all day. I drank 6 lemonades so far but I actually made them in 16 oz of water instead of 10. I took a weight lifting class and a step class at the gym and feel great. Time for tea and then bed.

      Hi Rozee,

When doing the salt water, if you notice your not releasing much as you should… you should drink more water right away. Once I had that issue and I started drinking water asap and it helped me complete my movement! You don’t want to retain the salt. Congrats on making it to day 3!

Day three is almost in the bag! I feel much better than yesterday when I felt like I had an epic flu. I guess my body was begging for this and is releasing much faster than I wish. I don’t have any energy yet but looking forward to tomorrow.

Good morning! today is July 12th, and day 2. I did a successful mastercleanse about 10 years ago, for 16 days, I lost 22 pounds, and kept it off 4 a year. It started coming back on when I added dairy and meat back to my diet. So now, 10 yrs later I am completely toxic and have gained that 22 pounds back plus another 20. I’m HUNGRY! Can’t bring myself to do the swf, had very bad experience that during my first cleanse – I have a serious problem with retaining water when I have salt and would always just retain the swf instead of releasing it. Am taking laxative tea both morning and night. Headache this morning and a little crabby, I miss my coffee!

Hi! I just finished day one of the group cleanse starting July 11, 2016. I’ve done the cleanse 4 times before but have only successfully completed it once. This is going to be my attempt at number 2!! One thing I’ve noticed is this process is very mental. If you remain positive and determined, your body can handle it! I have heard a saying, your body can do it, it’s your mind that needs convincing! So today I started with the SWF, (2 tsp salt, 1 qt warm water) and had 6 lemonades. I also went to the gym and took a lift barre class and half an aerobics class. Now it’s time for smooth move and bed.

You did great! Day two for me right now. I made the salt water really warm and am pretending it is broth soup…not bad like yesterday when it was luke warm. It’s all mental

I found I can reply to a comment, but not just leave one. Am I doing something wrong?

Today is my Day 1 of the cleanse, I have been trying to complete this cleanse for a very long time, but its extremely difficult. I’m a day behind the April 4 start date, but I do really appreciate the support, I hope to find someone else doing the cleanse this week! I’m starting my day of with a peppermint tea, then I will have my first bottle of lemonade, followed by a bottle of water.

Hello:) I started yesterday and so far ok a little hungry, but drinking mixture as recommended. I don’t remember being this hungry before but when I went to Trader Joes to purchased grade B maple syrup the store manager informed me the grading has changed and all maple syrup is now grade A! Does anyone know if this is true or not and is that the reason Im much hungrier this time around. I did the cleanse 6 mos ago for 7 days with weight loss of 14#s.

I went to the store and noticed this too. The maple syrup I bought has a note on it that it “used to be Grade B”. It is now called Grade A Dark. This is in contrast to Grade A Amber.

Hello! I started the master cleanse about 4 days ago and so far i have only lost about two pounds, which is strange because i am 5`1 and started at 156 pounds, so i should be losing a ton more weight i thought. I am i just being silly and its to early in the cleanse to expect more weight loss? I am drinking 2 serving of the lemonade 3 times a day so in all i get the six cups that i need, so should i be drinking more in order to loose weight? Could it be that my body went into starvation mode? Should i add more maple syrup so that my body gets more calories?
