Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Process and The Lemonade Diet for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

Day 3, I made 10 lemonades today, just had my last one. It’s amazing how much maple syrup you get through, I’ve ordered more as I can’t buy the top grade locally and it’s so expensive here in u.k but it does make a difference having the b grade. and I can get lemons anywhere
soon it will be time for my bedtime lax tea I’m going to try it with night time tea, they are very similar ingredients instead of Senna there’s valerian which could really help me sleep.

I make my lemonade as I go, I find it easier that way, I’ve got ingredients at work so I just carry the lemon squeezer around with me and the measuring spoons and try and remember to bring them home again. I find the taste really quenching, I was worried that it would make me feel cold when I drank it but it doesn’t because I have it at room temperature and with that pinch of cayenne it’s not been a problem. I tried a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses in one but it seemed way too rich and left me feeling a bit sick so I won’t try that again.

I was ready with all the ingredients. I was amazed at how easy it was to prepare. I have made Mean Green juices which takes way more time to prepare. The taste of the lemonade diet is actually pleasant for me. It decreased my appetite and was not as hungry as I thought I would be. However, I know that I will need to increase my lemonade volume as I drank 8oz today along with filtered water. It was a good first day!

It’s the end of day 1, and I need some clarification please somebody out there, so on the weeks menu, it says on most days make juice
    Vitals ??
Am I missing something? What’s meant by vitals? I’ve had stomach gripes on and off all day, when I’m busy like at dance class it was very physical but I felt fine didn’t have these hunger pangs exactly but then they come back so I have another lemonade, it could also be the fact that I woke up at 2 in the morning then got up at 6 and went straight into SWF and off to work.

Today is day 7. I’m feeling fantastic. More energy and less pain than I’ve had for years. Lost 13 pounds so far which really motivates me to go the full 10 days. Unfortunately the lemonade is becoming almost unbearable. I don’t mind the lemons or cayenne but the flavor of the syrup makes me queasy just thinking about it. Oh well, I’m determined to power through even though my wife gave up 3 days ago.

Day 6- I found a nice little compact hand juicer that I use now at work, easy to clean and compact, only large enough for 4 tbsp. at a time.
I bought a separate set of ss measuring spoons to keep at work so I’m not lugging everything in and out every day.
I have about 1 lemonade freshly made drink every couple hours sometimes more sometimes less.
the SWF has become really easy now that I separate into two 16oz cups, 1 with 2 tsps. of pink Himalayan sea salt, and one just water.

Hey Buddy, care to share the make/model of your favorite juicer?

Sure, the brand is chefn’ and they make a tiny little juicer.
I also bought a $12 sunbeam electric juice for at home that works perfectly and is easy to clean.

Chefn’ has lots of cool kitchen accessories on their website.
I found mine at the local HEB grocery here in south Texas.

I make single servings of the lemonade throughout the day and drink it once it is made. I juice one lemon with a handheld reamer, add 2T grade B maple syrup, a scant 1/8t cayenne pepper and 10oz cold spring water. I drink it very quickly, not quite chugging it, but within a minute or two. I’m drinking 6 lemonades a day and 96oz of spring water. The lemonade is interesting. Two thirds of the way through day two and I’m feeling pretty good.

Day 7. The lemonaide is a no brainer now. It frees up so much time not think of food or what to fix and buy. I think it is freeing up some brain space too.
