Group Cleanse Support Topic: Weight Loss and Physical Results

This page is a Support Topic Page for Weight Loss and Physical Results for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Weight Loss – Even though The Lemonade Diet is about so much more that weight loss, it is still an effective reduction diet. Weigh yourself each day. How much weight did you lose today? Are you happy or disappointing with the results? What were your expectations? Some people loose weight the day they start The Lemonade Diet. Some people don’t lose weight until well into the diet. Describe your daily experiences.

Physical – Talk about the way your body is reacting to the cleanse. Do you feel full of energy? Do you feel like you have a cold? Headaches on Day 2 but feeling great on day 8? Think about it, how do you feel today? Just pretend you are talking to your best friend and complaining about the hard parts and raving about the good.

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

    Lemonade Day 2 4:20

I feel like this day is almost complete!:) and it will be onto day 3, yay! As far as physical feelings go, I am so tired today, definitely not enough lemon drinks, and not enough sleep to sustain my energy, I didn’t walk this morning, which I know that would have helped my circulation and to wake up better.
I am however walking home in a few minutes and hoping that will make my body feel better, as its so tired and sore, feeling like I might take a very long hot bath tonight to sooth my muscles, and some stretches too hopefully if I stay awake long enough, lol! I feel like giving myself a gentle evening.
I have stepped on my scale today yet to see if it is cooperating with me, but I am not feeling any lighter really, haven’t seemed to eliminate to much, so I am wondering if more is gonna come these next few days. I think my tummy will do better tomorrow and I plan for more lemonades tomorrow, that will help, and way more water too! Going to just drink water and my tea tonight.
Well happy cleansing here is to day 2 almost done, can you believe we are almost at day 3 YAY!

    Lemonade Day 2

I went out to do some errands for work and decided that for lunch-I would take another walk around the marsh trails. I took my lemonade along of course. It was great because today I had a bit more energy than yesterday. I also have a mild headache since this morning and it looks like the fresh air may have helped with that somewhat.

These trails are the same ones I used to run on about 6 years back. It feels good getting back into my body and noticing the differences time has wrought. Back then, I was on a really great physical track. Exercised regularly, drank lots of water, and then life and relationship problems took their toll. I lost focus on the things that were important to me during that time. And my physical health is very important to me.

I guess that is one sign whether that person is right for you. Now, I am with someone that is a lot more emotionally healthy, allows himself to feel without embarassment, gives and takes love openly, is communicative. All of which I did not have before.

I can trust this man not to “mentally implode” at any given moment which has given me the freedom to focus on myself and the changes I need to make. For my body and mind.

So far so good. No trouble sticking and am even having to remind myself to drink my lemonade. The SWF is hard and only one pound down. Not feeling so tired today. Only eight days to go.

    Lemonade Day 2

After drinking the SWF this morning I got really thirsty. But I told myself I needed to have all the salt water out of me before drinking any more. I drank the salt water at 6:25am this morning and it is now 8:34 am. I am finally enjoying my first lemonade of the day.

I had resolved to hop on the scale sometime soon to get my starting weight but neglected to do so this morning. I think my brother has a scale in his room which I will borrow tonight for the duration of the cleanse. I had gone to the doctor last month so I have a good idea of my current weight though.

I don’t really feel any lighter. Although yesterday I did got for a nice, very leaserly walk around the walking trails around the office. I am lucky that there are several pretty and easy trails close to me. I went out around 2:07pm and about 15 minutes into it, my legs felt really heavy. I had enough energy to go at a snail’s pace which is why I probably only traveled about 3/4 mile round trip. I decided I wouldn’t push myself into going faster or doing more than I physically could; I forgave myself for not being able to physically run as at the same pace as my imagination or desire.

I took it easy…and easy was enough. By the time I got back to the office, I was pooped. I really enjoyed my stroll. I got to notice the marches, the birds, the sights and smells of the world just outside my door.

    Lemonade day 1;) @ 10:35pm

Funny thing is my scale says I’m a couple pounds heavier, lol, maybe all the waste is bulking up, an being more heavy, or could be that the scale is unreliable, oh well that’s ok, it’s really not about the scale, it’s about how I feel, it’s just interesting to document.

I feel like I didn’t let go of a lot, had my SWF elimination in the morning an then only one small BM…hmm, I’m waitin for the ‘baggage’ I guess.

Part of losing the uncomfortable weight is to get in shape, to move my body freely, enjoy it and be comfortable.

So I was up an at it this morning, walking my way to work with my lemonade kit on me. And I determined that its gonna be a nice 45min walk, give myself a nice comfortable walk, an I walked home to, can’t tell you go good it feels, maybe I am getting a little handle on my fatigue, boy am I tired now though, good tired;) a nice fresh air tired. A my body is strong an can handle a lot tired..( well that’s what I’m telling myself;)
    Happy healing everyone;) much love

Lemonade Day 1- Losing a little weight will only be a perk for me. My issues fall more into the emotional and mental categories. Although the “muffin tops” can leave! I want to change my bad eating habits by eating more healthier foods and eating more than once a day. I didn’t even weigh myself this morning. I did however take a few pictures of my face and body so I can compare them in 10 days. I want to see a glow on my face and feel better about being me.

Lemonade diet day one. This is my first time on the MC. Weight loss is one of my main goals along with detox. I have been trying to eat a vegan diet for about nine months, but after a two week trip in November, I have been having a hard time eating right again., I am hoping this will get me going again. I have lost eighty pounds so far, but I have a long way to go. Many years of yo-yo dieting have done me in. I have done well today, tired and hungry, but determined to last the whole ten days.

Lemonade Diet Day 1 – This is my first time doing my cleanse and I have to say I think part of the reason I feel like junk is because I didn’t sleep well last night. I have problems with heachaches and am probably going to be facing a caffeine withdrawl so I am expecting headaches from that.

Other than wishing I could go to bed right now, I feel great! I won’t lie…I’m hungry and want to eat but I’m NOT giving in. I’ve been sitting here trying to weed out the psychological craving from my actual body needing fuel and I’m still alive and well…so no cheating!

I’m looking forward to getting past the headaches and improved energy.

    Lemonade Day 1

I suppose I should get a hold of a scale to weigh myself. Although one of my goals is to drop some weight, it’s not my first priority. Now that is a first for me. I’ve yo-yo dieted for about 10 years now. It’s a first for me to do any sort of diet without weight-loss being the only goal.

    That’s pretty cool!

I’m feeling really good today. I’ve no major issues or pain. Earlier I felt a little tired but the lemonade perked me right up. Last night I came to terms with the fact that there will be discomfort – maybe I reverse phychologized myself? LOL…maybe.
