Group Cleanse Support Topic: Weight Loss and Physical Results

This page is a Support Topic Page for Weight Loss and Physical Results for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Weight Loss – Even though The Lemonade Diet is about so much more that weight loss, it is still an effective reduction diet. Weigh yourself each day. How much weight did you lose today? Are you happy or disappointing with the results? What were your expectations? Some people loose weight the day they start The Lemonade Diet. Some people don’t lose weight until well into the diet. Describe your daily experiences.

Physical – Talk about the way your body is reacting to the cleanse. Do you feel full of energy? Do you feel like you have a cold? Headaches on Day 2 but feeling great on day 8? Think about it, how do you feel today? Just pretend you are talking to your best friend and complaining about the hard parts and raving about the good.

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

Conclusion of day 4… My weight loss is slowing down, which is OK because I’m not doing this cleanse for weight loss. I weighed myself this morning and I lost like 1 pound. I guess my body is adjusting to the lack of solid food. I’m kinda worried because I wonder if if my body is going into starvation mode, although that’s hard to imagine since the maple syrup has is 200 calories for four tablespoons and I have around eight tablespoons a day. I also work out, which I am surprised that I have an abundance of energy to do. Tonight I took it easy though I skipped the cardio machines and did some strength training with a Latin expressions class.

Day 4 It was shocking when I got on the sales this am. 110lbs I’m always at 120! I’m feeling thin and very fluid. It seems like with the big increased intake of fluids i was peeing a lot but now I’m peeing a lot less and my body seems to be absorbing it a lot more. This is a lesson to drink a lot more fluids on a daily basis.

This morning I weighed myself and I was down 2 pounds! My initial weight was 243, on day 2 I was 238, this morning I weighed in at 236!! Whoot! Whoot! I am super excited! I wear a waist trainer and it’s almost too big for me. My clothes fit much better, looser. I am so motivated to keep going with this cleanse. Although I have heard good and bad things about extending this cleanse beyond ten days. I might just try to adopt a healthier lifestyle by making better food choices. I just don’t want to gain all the weight back that I lost.

How many servings of the lemonade do you take a day. Right now I am taking 10 glasses and I lost 2.2lbs the furst day but haven’t lost anything day 2 or 3.

So far I’ve lost just 1 pound. I have lots of muscle so that is normal for me. My clothes feel a lot looser. I should take measurements.

Now this was the post that I couldn’t wait to make. I am excited to announce that when I weighed myself this morning I weighed in at 238 down from 243 and that’s in one day!!! I couldn’t believe it, every day I go to the gym and slave away only to never see the scale move. I’m also amazed because I’m not even doing this cleanse for weight loss, it’s just like a wonderful benefit! Now I am super motivated to see how the scale moves by the end of week. I also contribute the weight loss to the saltwater flushes getting all that old gunk out. I will definitely keep you posted.

I know my starting weight; I am currently enrolled in a boot camp class at the gym. I am having a hard time dropping the weight; I suspect it has something to do with the toxins in my body. I also feel like this cleanse will give me the ability to look at food differently and build a different relationship with it. I haven’t lost any weight but maybe that will be different when i weigh myself in the morning. I did go work out today and my workout was more meaningful than other days. The calories I burned was like money in the bank, not like money I was going to spend immediately. To be continued…

I weighed myself today and my weight is 143 and I took my measurements for later to be able to compare after the cleanse. I am really hopeful that this cleanse will be the ticket to me re-loosing the 20lbs that I have gained over the last 3 months. I have tried everything from exercising for 5 hours a day, to the military diet. I lost the weight initially by doing a 101 day boot camp challenge. My caloric intake was 1000 cal to 500 cal depending on the day and the weight just melted off. But I managed to put it back on in a months time even with continued 2 hours a day exercise. I couldn’t control my binging and I never experienced the full reflex. So I am hoping this detox will help me regain my control and hit the reset button of my mind and will power. I am getting very discouraged so I will cross my fingers that this works. I know some of you feel the same way and are discouraged. I have completed a juice fast before and I know for a fact that these things do work help reset the mind!!!!!!! I know we can all do this.

    MC Day 10

I have lost weight, however, I am waiting until tomorrow morning to weigh myself.

It’s probably in the range of 8 to 10 pounds.

My clothes are fitting better and a couple of things are too big now.

    Yahooooo

    MC Day 9

Thursday is the day I plan on weighing in!

However it goes is fine with me. I’m feeling energized and my clothes are looking better and better on me. And can tell my “Belly Fat” is going way down.
