Welcome to The Group Cleanse

June 20, 2011

Welcome to the Master Cleanse Quarterly Group Cleanse. The above video is the same video found on the Group Cleanse page. If you’ve already watched it, you’re all set. If not, make sure you watch it because it’ explains how to document your Group Cleanse Experience.

Please note, we are no longer doing the Sharing Rewards, and the dates are not accurate since of course time passes and video doesn’t update itself ;).

Be sure to check your email for more details on the Group Cleanse, including if you’re going to start right now on your own as an independent, or with the Group at the scheduled time. We also would like to know if what type of cleanser you already are so we can send you more relevant information. After all, the Newbie Cleanser will want more support and instruction than a Veteran or Master Cleanser.

Day 2 lemonade diet. I’m feeling ok, a little nauseous tho. My current weight is 227.6lbs I started my ease in at 233 lbs. I’m drinking so much water and the first few days of the new year I started my day with a protien shake and are clean. Lots of fish, chicken fruits and veggies. I’m really nervous I’ve done the cleanse before and lasted 7days. Then after that I’ve not been able to complete a full day. My goal on this cleanse is weightloss and mental clarity. Good luck cleansers Ttyl

Ease-in Day 2 – I forgot… My start weight is 227, my goal weight is 185. I dont believe that I will loose that much with this cleanse, but I am hoping that the cleanse will help me psychologically…. Starting out “clean” for the new year and really thinking about what I am putting into my body afterwards. What I eat for functionality and energy v.s. what I eat because it is fast, easy, cheap, tastes good, looks pretty, smells good. I hope that this cleanse will be a kick in the face for me, and putting bad foods into my body afterwards will make me feel like all of this pain was for nothing. I come from an obease family with horrible habits imbedded into myself since birth. This is not only feeling like the most difficult thing I have tried to force myself to do, but it is filling me with all kinds of undealt with emotions. I am glad I found this section of the site for comments, because writing about this, and reading other’s comments is realllllly helping me right now.

This is Day one for me. I have been doing Master Cleanse 3-4 times a year for about 5 years now. It has completely changed my relationship to my body & food. I have always struggled with my weight & healthy eating but this has changed radically. in the last 5 years, doing this cleanse it’s as if my body has a much lower tolerance for unhealthy eating now. I don’t enjoy overeating at all. (like I used to!). I naturally lean towards a healthier diet when I am not on the cleanse and when the seasons change, I sense my body ready for a rest (especially after the holidays!) and I CRAVE the cleanse. Today is DAY ONE and my body is thanking me. I am familiar with the cleansing process now and LOVE the feeling. For those of you who are first time cleansers or for anyone who is struggling, I want to encourage you yo hang in there. In my experience, It gets better every day and the pay off is well worth the struggle. I look forward to feeling feel lighter, clearer and, frankly, not so full of sh*t! (sorry, can’t help it – it’s true!) This is my first time ever doing it with a group like this. I look forward to giving and receiving support as we go. So, I send love & good vibes to everyone ! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

I am glad to have ready your message here, I am seriously super emotional right now. I would love to love this feeling. I suppose that once I am on the other side of this, this part will feel worth it.

I start Day 1 tomorrow and had some quick questions about the supplies..I can’t find organic lemons so will the ones from the supermarket be ok to use? I also bought Celtic Salt but its the Light Grey Mineral Blend..is that one good?? And for after the cleanse the Probiotics Kyo-Dophilus with Enzymes Digestive support? I also want to know if the All Natural Cayenne Pepper from Frontier is good to use since its not the Simply Organic kind..Just wanted some helpful advise before I start ?

Welcome Gloria! Finding organic lemons CAN be a real hassle in some areas, especially across the globe! It is not usually recommended to use non-organic lemons due to the unnatural pesticides and other man-made chemicals used on them as they grow. If organic cannot be found anywhere, including small overseas grocers, the only choice is to use regular lemons. BUT, here you the buyer can pick better than ‘normal’. Be aware of how the lemon looks, as heavily pesticide lemons look wrinkled, shrunken, pitted or pock-marked. Less abused lemons have a smooth thick rind, all-over coloration, and can be larger than abused lemons. Not true for all lemons, but when in doubt, buy the ‘pretty ones’. As for Celtic Salt, you might have to compare the back of each box to see where they process them, and see if there were added ingredients. Won’t touch the after-Cleanse Q. Don’t worry which cayenne pepper you get, as long as the ingredients don’t have additives, preservatives, and are simply cayenne pepper. Good fortune! =)
