Day 1, Lemonade Diet – Yesterday was my first day of the cleanse. I am a 3-4 cup/day coffee drinker, so I experienced slight fatigue and a headache in the early afternoon. Since my job as a newspaper reporter allows me to work from home, I was able to take a short nap around 2pm. This is my first time on the Master Cleanse, however, I am not new to fasting. Last year, I did a 14-day water fast, immediately followed by a 7-day juice fast. The way I felt by day seven was truly amazing, amost euphoric! The lemonade drink on the MC is great and offers an easier way to cleanse (compared to other fasts). I look forward to the AWESOME feeling of rejuvination of body and soul. I may extend the fast longer than the 10 days….we shall see!!
