Congrats to everyone on day 5. I am on day 5, too and I am going to do at least 10 days.
I am sure the detox has something to do with it but I don’t feel any different from the day I started this fast. I still have the same symptoms every day and i am doing every thing EXACTLY the way it is instructed in the book. I am going to go to at least 10 days but I was hoping to feel something (worse or better) that way I know the detox is working. I have done plenty of drugs and alcohol and have a horrible diet so I expected to have SOMETHING happen at this point but my symptoms, energy, mood has been constant. I drink 6 to 10 drinks a day, do the senna tea at night and the flush first thing in the morning. I just hope that I will get the desired results on day 10. Any advice?

Hello day 5. This is the second time I have done the 10 day cleanse. The first time was over 2 years ago and set me onto the healthiest period of my life to date. I am now on day 5 again and feeling great. The salt water flush has been much easier this time. I am using 16 oz of luke warm water and 2 and 1/2 teaspoons of sea salt. Only challenge has been sleep for the last 2 nights. Low quality sleep with much waking to go to the bathroom. Having been a clean eater since the first cleanse, I was not expecting much weight loss, but I am down about 3 to 4 pounds. Day 5 feels good, with no headaches or body pain so far. Very clear and focused. Excited to move through the next few days to the end at 10.

This is day 5 for me. I did 4 days prior and am going for the full 10 this time. The third day was the HARDEST – I was starving. I had 10 servings and was STILL starving so I broke down and made a little vegetable broth. Is that horrible? I’d like comments on that if anyone has them. I just put a couple carrots, onion, celery and cabbage in a couple cups of water, boiled them for about 45 minutes and drank the water. I felt incredible after that. Did it again yesterday, but today I don’t see it happening. It’s almost 1:00 pm, I have had 3 servings of the lemonade and am not at all hungry and the cravings are gone. I am, however, enjoying going through my vegetarian cookbooks and planning meals for when this is done! I am wondering though…when you don’t get enough calories and your metabolism slows down so much – doesn’t the body go into starvation mode and hold onto calories = not burn fat? Is there a risk that your body will metabolize muscle instead of fat? If anyone has information on this I would really like to know!!
