Detox and The Salt Water Flush
The Salt Water Flush Problems, Tips, and Tricks for Success
The SWF might be the hardest part of the Master Cleanse, but it doesn’t have to be. It is essential to the cleanse because it facilitates the detox by flushing your system.
What is working and what is not working. How are your movements? Are they successful? What do they look like? Are they getting lighter or darker? Are the becoming more frequent? Do you have other signs of detoxing, like breakouts or white tongue? The Master Cleanse is about Detox and daily eliminations are critical to the success of the cleanse. Is this Detox Diet successful so far?

ease out, day 5
My digestion has never been this good. All I can say is WOW. It must be the probiotics (?)
The only solids (semi solids, more like) I’ve ingested on my ease out have been noodles and semolina, which I put in my veggie broth, but everything is going smoothly in the bathroom department. I’m normally really squeamish when it comes to talking about these things but I can’t help it, I’m just so delighted that things are working the way they ought to.
I’m all out of probiotics (finished the last of them this morning) so I hope the balance has been restored in my stomach.

ease out day 4
Without going into too much detail, I am very pleased to report that it seems those probiotics I have been taking have done their job beautifully. Everything is back on track, so to speak.
I am feeling more like myself today but still adhering to the liquid diet for my extended ease out. I put some noodles in my broth but other than that I’m only ingesting liquids today, tomorrow and probably half of Tuesday (I am supposed to visit friends on Tue afternoon and will no doubt be force fed something or other :) Looking forward to eating solid food again but not until my body tells me it’s ready.

ease out Day 3
I don’t like the slight swelling in my belly, although I know it’s only natural that it’s happening. The few solids I have put in my stomach are probably not going anywhere for at least another day or two, and tempted as I am to just say “to hell with it” and do a SWF, I know that would be stupid. I’m trying hard to replace all the good bacteria in my stomach and have been very diligent about taking my probiotics throughout the day for the past 3 days. I have to trust that they’ll do their job and get my digestion back on track a.s.a.p.
But what I wouldn’t give to have that lovely, light feeling that follows a good SWF. Sigh…

Thought about doing SWF today as well because the steamed veggies i had wouldnt digest . I take it that this is perfectly normal after a cleanse?
I normally have digestion issues and i thought the detox would have “sorted” it out .

Ease out day 2
I havent had any movement at all either since my last SWF. Glad to know its not only me.
I started taking probiotics powder mixed with psyllium husk this morning, hopefully that should start working soon.

Ease Out Day 2
Sorry for TMI (too much information) but I haven’t had anything even resembling an elimination since my last SWF and probably won’t see any.. um… action on that front until I’ve begun eating solid food again. I’m just peeing a lot (obviously) because of all the liquids. They’re the only thing I’m allowing myself today– until dinnertime, that is– so I’ve been treating myself to all sorts of yummy juices.
Am still on the maximum 6 probiotics a day and still breaking them open and mixing them into my water and my juice, rather than make my poor stomach work on the capsules.

Ease out day 1
Negative as this may sound, i cant really say i missed the SWF this morning or the laxative last night. Infact, i went to bed thinking thank God its over and woke up this morning still thinking the same. I guess i just got tired of the taste of both of them.
I intend to still do the SWF every now and then though, especially when i eat something i shouldnt.

ease out Day 1
I’ll level with you all. I’m feeling a bit jittery thinking about the coming week(s), knowing that my digestion can no longer be scheduled and completely under my control like it was with the SWF.
I still vividly remember how screwed up it got after my first cleanse (as a result of my impatience and inexperience I eased out WAY TOO QUICKLY and paid for it dearly!) It took my stomach ages to recover from the massive shock I subjected it to. I never want to go through that hell again.
The nice lady at the pharmacy said I can take a maximum of 6 probiotics a day, so that’s how many I’m taking today. Lots of diluted OJ and water. Baby steps…

Lemonade Diet Diet Day 10
The detox was good today. I had a movement right out of bed. That laxative sure works. Senna caps I used, although Peter Glickman and I had some controversy tonight in our interview for version 2 of my Ebook Successfully Start The Master Cleanse. He was pretty adamant about using the laxative tea. I told him Tom Woloshyn suggest the tablets. I suggested I get the two of them on a conference call for all all out (friendly) debate of the process variations. Both are proponents of being Strict Stanley Burroughs, but I have found dissimilarities in their approaches (although very slight ones only)

Day 10…
I just made my last cup of tea and I’m waiting for it to steep right now. My movements for the past day or two have been mostly liquid, which makes me feel that I’ve detoxed pretty well. I actually, even though it sounds weird, look forward to the first week of movements I have after eating “real” food!
Plus, it’ll be such a relief to be able to fart again!

~* DAY 10 *~
Didn’t realise this until now but this morning’s SWF will be my very last. I know I should be excited about this but I’m going to miss it in a way.
Sure, it will be nice to have those 2-3 extra hours in the morning, but when I approach the end of a cleanse I always get nervous about day to day life without this helpful tool. I’m hoping the probiotics I bought will do their work and have pledged to take it easy on my stomach so that the ease out process will be as gentle and gradual as possible.
