The Process and The Lemonade Diet

What is your process with the Master Cleanse and Lemonade

This page is the place for participants in the New Years Resolution Master Cleanse Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post.

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

Please provide 100 Words Each Day – Don’t worry that’s not that much. The paragraph below is 100 words..

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the proccess like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

Katie – how old is your boy now? You aren’t nursing are you? I don’t think this would be a good idea if you were nursing. I love m&c myself…instead of buying cookbooks, there are so many great recipes online! Vegetarian times has good ones, and I just stared using Epicurious.com You can pick recipes and put them in a recipe “box” too…then you can input the recipes on http://www.nutritiondata.com and it will analyze them so you know exactly what the nutrients are – it shows you how balanced it is for vitamins, minerals, etc. and even tells you the gycemic factor, whether it is inflammatory or not, etc. So many great resources for food PLUS when you check out recipes online they generally have reviews. So what I was gonna say was that I am going to look for a vegan m&c recipe and try that…if there is a good one out there HECK YEAH!

Yeah, I am normally a healthy person but when I got prego I just ate whatever I wanted good and bad and it was hard to break that so doing this makes me refreshed and now I am really focused on being healthy to stay around a long time to nag my baby boy :)

    Susan-Katie:

I was on a highprotien diet before this and fell into more carbs a few days befor
e so YES my body is full of animal protiens! I tried Weight Watcher for 3 months and kept on
Track but the carbs made me gain so I went back to Atkins/SouthBeach guidelines
And dropped 24 pounds! High protien or the raw foods diet works with my body to
Lose but raw is hard long term which is what motivated me for this cleanse to detox from
The meat and go back to raw.

I didn’t do a lot of dairy but now and then

    Susan-

Yes I am a freak for meat in cheese! But mostly cheese. That could be it…or maybe youre body is ridding the toxins more from bowel movements? My tongue only got super white yesterday and today. I know that once my tongue turns white again that is a sign that your body is almost done if not all the way done getting out toxins!

LOL I am sorry! I know…m&c is my food weakness. I went to TJ MAXX today and bought a lot of healthy cook books and went through them and could taste the food! LOL, but I am staying so strong! I am sooo thrilled to be on this diet and have all the motivation! :) Yeah, my teeth are driving me crazy with the stickiness! Sorry I made you notice it! yeah I sat in the mirror for what seemed like 5 minutes scrubbing my tongue clean but it comes right on back in record time!
I had my first BM without help from tea or SWF today. It was like semi solid but not a lot. I am wondering if its because I havent done the SWF in two days so it had time to harden a bit? I am probably going to get tough and do the SWF tonight and in the morning! HAHA…determined or just plan crazy?!?!
I am not looking forward to a water fountain butt…but its part of the process! Haha. My friend is a nurse and she thinks the diet is not healthy…and I tried so hard to convince her it was okay and she wouldnt understand! I feel great! I dont feel like I am neglecting my body…only my taste buds! LOL. All I know is that next friday is my final day and then I start the ease out!

Do yall think its okay to do the SWF right now (5 my time) and let it flow and after that hour go back to my lemonade? Or after the SWF do I need to let my body rest?

Ok…I just checked my tongue, and it’s a tiny bit white but nothing too crazy. So I have to ask – do you usually eat a lot of meat and dairy? I hardly eat any meat and though I love cheese I don’t have it regularly. So I wonder if you consume more meat and that’s why you are both having more of the white tongue effect than I am.

    Katie:
DONT even UTTER “Mac N Cheese” on this thread or Ill be compelled to cyber-poke you in the eye! (LOL)

Welcome back! Oh My Gosh! You are SO right! My teeth stick together too!! Eeeewwwww! Its like Im decomposing! Eeeeeewwww! (LOL)

I’ve had the white fur coat on my tongue for some time now and discovered it cant be scrapped off or gargled off..it is what it is! I am driving my beau crazy because I refuse to kiss him! Add to that: chapped lips! Though less so today than yesterday – I feel like a walking recovering crack addict! (LOL)

I do the full 120oz of lemonade…I feel I need to though I make myself drink more water this way also. This thread also really helps me too.

Im back! We left the beach early because my son was getting into EVERYTHING! We had a good time though! I drank the tea last night but did not do the SWF this morning. I am going to do it tonight though I think to make up for not doing it 2 mornings in a row. Maybe tonight and then tomorrow morning to get back on track? I am going to take up all of the advice yall have given me to increase my BM’s. My tongue is COMPLETELY white with coating and when I clench my teeth they almost are stick and the back teeth stick together…even after brushing! And I dont even use as much lemonade as it calls for…is anyone else experiencing this?!?!
THank you Jamie! I am so proud of myself for being half way done with the 4th day! I know that I can last for the whole process. I even talked about food with my friend for like 20 minutes, made chicken nuggets, french fries, and even mac and cheese for my son and I stayed strong! I really love that I can talk with other people doing it…it is def. a motivator!
