Anyone who completed the cleanse, but maybe didn’t post that much, would you be so kind to go to this page, and leave a brief comment, stating your experience. Did you start? Did you finish? If not when did you quit? Which day and why? This would make for a great analysis for everyone to understand those numbers.

Just finishing up on day 11.Drank fresh oj until 1pm, then ate raw veggie salad for lunch with avocado and rye crackers. I have a crock pot of veggie soup cooking. I could have easily done 14 days. I feel great but did not want to try to break the fast while doing lots of air travel. Cant lug around fresh food for 6 days of traveling on an airplane. I also started on a probiotic today. My tongue is almost pink. Over all this was so easy since I just love the lemonade and could drink it anytime. Never really had any bad detox symptoms and lost around 8 pounds. I will definately do this again early summer but will invest in a citrus juicer this time. Hang in all, it is so worth it. Feel soooo good.

    1. Can one do the master cleanse during the first two months of a pregnancy?
    2. Is one allowed to take daily suppliments/vitamins?
    3. If one is accustomed to exercising frequently, can purified water be used throughout the workout?

Hello!! I’ve just finished my cleansing today, I feel great!! The fifth day for me was the most difficult, mostly because it was the week end and I had a lot of dinners and parties, but I made it!! I’m really proud of me because I thought to do something like this was impossible. I invite everyone to start ASAP, I recommend if it’s your first time and you don’t want to loose a lot of pounds, just to do it for 5-7 days.

    Start today!!

I feel like I just experienced a miracle. I’m on day 5 of the cleanse and I got my period. WITHOUT CRAMPS!!!!! I’m 25 years old and have had terrible cramps for 10-12 years. I used to miss school for the first few days of my period every month. I have even gone to the ER the cramps could be so terrible. I always can feel it coming 3 to 4 days in advance when the cramps start. I just got my period last night without feeling a thing. I thought I had tried everything! I tried 4 different kinds of birth control, pain killers, heating pads…the works and nothing helped. This is simply amazing! I don’t know if it’s something I’m eating or just flushing out the toxins that I need to do, but I’m one step closer to figuring out what I thought was hopeless!

At the risk of sounding repetitive, thank you to all including the Admin for organizing the event. The Master Cleanse is a difficult process and take determination, focus, strong, will, and perseverance. I had the determination, but having the friends on this site kept me on track. Though this may sound crass; however, when someone “went off the wagon,” it made me stronger. Not just for me, but gave me the courage and that extra push to keep me going and to give back to the MC community that I have grown quite found of over these 10 plus days. I encouraged a few of you to keep going during this process, but I wish I had more time to spend to encourage each and every person on the cleanse because I know we all needed a little or a lot of encouragement to stick this out.
I love what this cleanse does for me. I adhor the gut busting feeling when I over-eat, even just a little bit. The MC has made us all aware that we can indeed survive with very little as we all did it! The ways of the Super Size should never enter our world because we do not need it. Not just for caloric reasons, but because our bodies do not need it. Food for nutrition, not for recreation as many of us may have done once or twice in our lifetimes. Each time you have a momentary lapse of weakness, remember how great you felt on the cleanse. How light everything was. I am not simply talking about the weight, but your overall demeanor.
I was a nicer, calmer, more level headed person on the cleanse. Now that I have been eating, and I must admit that I have already indulged in more than I need, I am a little depressed and heavier in weight and in my demeanor. The over eating is a good way to remind myself that I do not like feeling this way. I already miss the cleanse. I said the cleanse, not the SWF.
Yes, I know the SWF is a major factor of the cleanse, but it does not mean that I have to like it. I do not remember who said it, but someone actually enjoyed the SWF. When I read that, I thought she must be smoking the crack pipe. To each is own. I tried and tried to embrace the SWF, but I could not. I just had to suck it up and do it. I did on this sixth cleanse become a Lemon Licker! Hip Hip Hooray! Thank you group for this priceless recommendation! The only thing that I liked about the SWF was the Butt Pee! YESSSSSSSSSSSS! It made me feel so goooood! Gross, I know, but I know that you all felt the same way!! The icing on the cake was the black tar poo poo!
We may be a bunch of lemonade & cayenne drinking , salt water drinking, lemon licking, butt peeing, black tar poo poo loving fools, but I am honored and blessed to shared this cleanse with such a dynamic group of cleansers.

I bid you all farewell and I hope we cross paths again!

I did complete the Master Cleanse. I started my 3 day ease in on Jan 1 and started the experience as designed on Jan 4th. I almost didn’t since my birthday was Jan 8 but then thought about it and decided this would be a great gift to myself. I am so glad I did it. It was not a cake walk as Day 3 and Day 8 were very hard days for me. Mostly however I found the experience very rewarding. I loved the fact that so many comitted to doing it. I was then disappointed and a little discouraged that so many did not participate in the on line support forum. For me it kept me motivated and determined not to let anyone else down. That was the key element in my getting past day 8. I knew it was almost over and I did not want to have to post here that I failed. LOL

I found the hardest part of the detox for me was being so cold all the time, even at night sleeping. I had no internal body heat. Lets face it at 46 I am supposed to be enjoying night sweats. I even slept in my fleece robe a couple nights under 2 duvets!
It was amazing how I was almost never hungry. I know I did not drink enough lemonade some days, and my body I think remained on the brink of starvation. I think I would have seen more weight loss had I consumed a little more and maybe why my body temp was so low. I think this cleanse is best done in Spring or Fall not in the dead of winter. But I am still so glad I did it. Its not a new years resolution to me, its a jump start to making healthier choices all around and it was a great way to get the ball rolling.

The group format is a brilliant idea and I thank Mike for putting the time and effort into this. I would love to be kept abreast of future cleanses, possibly spring or early summer.

I would love to get some feedback about the recaps from why so many were unable to do this or chose to enroll but drop out. Would make supporting others easier knowing the issues. I still think the SWF is imperative to the success and I think those who are attempting to forgo that part and not doing the Master Cleanse. I think it should be made clearer how important it is.

Again thanks so much for this forum and best of luck with your results.

As it turns out, my doctor informed me on December 31st no less, that my gallbladder would have to come out. At that point, I decided that it would be best for me to opt out of the January cleanse. I had already lost 12 lbs from all of the nausea and vomiting caused by the my sick gallbladder, and I really couldn’t afford to lose any more weight. I’m only 5 feet 2 inches and am down to 115 lbs. If I had done the cleanse, I could have quite possibly dropped down to 100 lbs and seeing as how I was having surgery on January 12th, it just didn’t seem like a good time for me. With as sick as I’ve been, I feel like I’ve already done the cleanse. Ha. Just kidding. I actually did a 7 day cleanse last June and it was nothing like anything I’ve ever done.

Post surgery is coming along alright. It’s the 7th day since my gallbladder removal or for those who prefer the medical terminology laproscopic cholestectomy, and I’m still having some pain in my right side. I’m back to work tomorrow, but am going to take it easy.

I still plan on doing the Cleanse when I’m back in shape and get a little weight back on my bones. I think I prefer to do it in the summer, because I remember how cold I was all of the time.

It was wonderful to read everyone’s experiences and trials and tribulations and this group experience has definetly given me a push toward my goal of a possible May or June cleanse.

Thanks for all your thoughts and good luck to everyone.
