Group Cleanse: My Experience Journal

This page is an instructional page for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

To learn more about the value of Group Cleansing, check out this report.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

M.E. (My Experience) Journal Pages

Diaries and Journals have long been an extremely effective way to document your experience (obviously :), but also to provide the framework for success, the review for improvement and the motivation to continue. Today with websites, social media, blogs and forums, the diary journal has only become more effective. And so we to provide that framework for documenting your trials and tribulations in The Master Cleanse Group Cleanse Diary Journal.

These links will take you to the pages that you can journal in each day, by simply posting a comment on them. Everyone in the Group Cleanse will also diarize their experiences, and respond to yours. This forum has proved to be extremely effective in the success of thousands of Master Cleansers and Newbie Cleansers alike.

How to format Your Diary Journal

Each day, post a comment on each of the above diary journalpages. Start your main entry with a Milestone Indicator like:

Ease-In Day 1: I need some help. Has anyone every experienced…

or

Lemonade Diet – Day 3 –> Today was another great day, I…

As long as you preface your primary entry with that, we can track your entry and better organize it for the benefit of others. You can post as much as you like, on any page you like. In fact you’ll get points for nearly every interaction you take. But if you want to qualify for the grand prize, you’ll need to post each day, on each diary journal topic, and preface it with that Milestone title.

Diary Journal Examples: For Inspiration

Our book, Master Cleanse Me (to be published later this year), is in part a compilation of the experiences of the most popular, and helpful Group Cleansers’ Diary Journals from the last 10 quarterly Group Cleanses. When you buy Master Cleanse Me, you’ll also get the bonus Diary Journals from past Group Cleanse Leaders. Here is a little bonus for you, to aid you in your own journalling. Enjoy, and Happy Cleansing

    3rd timer

I noticed a lot lf people aren’t doing the SWF. What I’ve ALWAYS DONE is use the whole lemon.

    1) buy smooth skinned lemons as they have far fewer seeds than rough skinned ones

    2) peel the outside of the lemon with a potato peeler, then cut in 4 and take out the seeds.

    3) throw everything in the blender, add the cayenne and maple syrup and put her on high until everything is finely blended.

I make 32 oz at a time so I use 4 whole lemons,8 table spoons of maple syrup and a small 1/2 tablespoon of cayenne pepper.

    4) I usually drink half right away and put the rest in a large mouthed energy drink bottle for easy access and convenience if I have to go somewhere or just leave it in the fridge.

    5) That way I only have to mix my batches 2x per day.

I find the lemon pulp gives me the fibre required for daily bowl movements without taking the SWFlush and why waste 3/4 of the lemons where there are lot’s of nutrients that would otherwise be wasted by throwing it all out.

I’m no expert but have had great results in the past, feel great, lose aches and pains, sleep like a baby and had more energy than I knew what to do with.

The lady that introduced me to it did it yearly for 30 days at a stretch once a year.

I was incredulous that you can live 30 days without regular food but it’s more than possible. She looked 20 years than her age.

I find the biggest hurdle every time is the discipline to not snack even a peanut as our psychological addiction to food i.e. fulfilling the oral fetish, is the toughest obstacle to overcome.

    Cheers, Robby

    DAY 5–LEMONADE DIET–NEWBIE

Ran around a lot today and then had to be around food at a dinner. I got home at 7 pm and realized I had only had 4 glasses of lemonade for the day!

Made a big glass of 5 servings and now I’m fine. Was a bit tempted, tho. Lack of planning! Won’t do it again!

    Lemonade – day 4 – (1st timer)
No – SWF so far. I’m thinking I’ll try it on my day off. It’s a little scary to go to work after doing that, at least that’s what I have read. I was very diligent about drinking a lemonade every 2 hrs. After not feeling my best yesterday, I made sure I had enough in my system today!! I feel good today. Still feeling very tired at the end of the day!! I have not worked out so far, but I’ve been able to get my 10,000+ steps in during the day. Support from my sister in law, people who post on here, and co-workers is helping a lot. Please stay strong everyone!! We can do this!! :) good night!!

Lemonade diet – day 3 – first time
Today has been the most difficult so far. I really need to make sure I’m drinking every 2 hours. I also feel super tired!! I’m actually ready to sleep and it’s only 7:30!! I’m staying strong and I’m going to persevere!! Stay strong everyone!! I’m not doing the SW mix. I take all of the ingredients in a large cooler and make my lemonade fresh every time.

Yeah the sw mix didn’t work for me either i started the master cleanse today and so far so good. I actually like the taste of it, and I am only drinking it when I feel hungry which isn’t often as I now have my appetite regulated. Afterwards I plan on going vegan.

I have been doing the smooth move. I have not done the swf yet. I don’t know if I will. Maybe when I have a day off from work.

Lemonade diet – day 2 (new timer)
I have yet to do the SW drink in the morning. I’m thinking I won’t do that. Today was surprisingly good. I only drank when I was hungry. I felt a lot less anxious today. I best part about this process so far is that I don’t have to think about what I’m going to eat, or what I’m going to cook!! :) I’m feeling more and more confident, it’s totally doable!! I agree with several of the other posts, support and cheers from everyone else really helps!! Stay strong everyone. We can do it!!

    The Night Before:

Good evening! I am a newbie to the master cleanse. Well, for the most part….I recently started the master cleanse and got through about 80% of my first day when I just really wanted to quit and pick up some delicious food… After eating said food I felt miserable because I was really looking forward to accomplishing my goal of completing the cleanse. No one I know is willing to try the cleanse with me, but luckily I discovered this group cleanse! I’m extremely excited to take on this challenge, especially with other people.

Time to take my tea and head to bed. Big day tomorrow! :)

Oh, and good luck to everyone!

Hey Brinley! (love your name by the way)
Hang in there. This is my second try at this cleanse. Although, the first time I tried it (years ago) I didn’t know about the importance of the ingredients and their quality. Stick to it! If I can do this anyone can! If you need any support or inspiration, I suggest the books. I’ve been thumbing through them a bit in my downtime and it’s been a great inspiration for me.
Good luck and if you need any support or advice, turn here, I’m planning on journaling everyday!

Did you get back on track? I know food is very tempting, but it will still be there when you are done with your 10 days.
