Group Cleanse Support Topic: Weight Loss and Physical Results

This page is a Support Topic Page for Weight Loss and Physical Results for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Weight Loss – Even though The Lemonade Diet is about so much more that weight loss, it is still an effective reduction diet. Weigh yourself each day. How much weight did you lose today? Are you happy or disappointing with the results? What were your expectations? Some people loose weight the day they start The Lemonade Diet. Some people don’t lose weight until well into the diet. Describe your daily experiences.

Physical – Talk about the way your body is reacting to the cleanse. Do you feel full of energy? Do you feel like you have a cold? Headaches on Day 2 but feeling great on day 8? Think about it, how do you feel today? Just pretend you are talking to your best friend and complaining about the hard parts and raving about the good.

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

    DAY 1- My starting weight is 131 – I’m hoping to lose 10-15 lb!! The next 10 days will be a journey for sure.

    Today I will add in a 10-15min jog, and free weights at home. I want to keep active during this process.

    I’m on Starting day 4 today! I’m rather small and have been carrying much more weight that usually (7ish lbs) due to poor diet and little exercise over several months. I was excited about the cleanse not only to restart my system and help eliminate my cravings, but to also get back to my normal weight. Although I do not own a scale, because I would rather base my opinions about my body on my own, I don’t assign a number to it, I haven’t noticed any significant amount of weight loss. Even 2 or 3 lbs on my frame is noticeable gain or loss. I’ve been reading that some people have better success with weight loss when they don’t do the flush every morning but instead drink the tea again. I’m worried about how that effects people at work, if they have any tips for seeping to prevent cramping, or if you feel you can hold it if needed! I personally like the saltwater flush because there isn’t any cramping, I don’t have to worry about URGENT trips to the bathroom while at work. but if it’s preventing me from losing weight, I’d like to hear more about what other people do to ensure weight loss.

    Day 3 – Weight Loss / Physical
    Since doing the ease in I’ve lost 4 pounds. This is my second cleanse and I am finding this time it is much much easier. My last was about 7 years ago. I just read that exercise is okay on this cleanse. I had it in my head that I was not supposed to based on other reset programs. I think if I am going to try a tiny bit of running I definitely need to increase the number of drinks I have a day. While I don’t feel tired and in need of a nap or coffee (like usual) I don’t feel like expelling all kinds of energy either. Sometimes going up the stairs is even a little tiring.

    Day 9
    Waist trimming up nicely, I don’t think I have had any weight loss either, but I am glad about that, I had a feeling my face would become ghostly thin but it hasn’t.
    I’ve been feeling really good and focused.

    Day 9.

    I don’t see any dramatic weight loss (I hate it), but I see that I become smaller. And my measuring skirt fits better now. I think I will try to do carb cycling. I may say that my MC was smooth and I am happy I did it :)
    I proud of myself.

    Day 8
    My cold is definitely receding but still have sore throat, it’s not affecting how I feel though, lots of to do energy but physically not exerting myself in an attempt to get over this fluey thing. Feeling great!!!

    Day 7 Whoop whoop!!!
    Think I’m in for the long haul, though still have sore throat, thinking now it could be something to do with my water filtration system, on bottled from today and ordered more ceramic filters, (hopefully I haven’t damaged myself) :((

    Day 6!
    I will kill myself if don’t loose at list 3 kg!!
    For 5 days of no-eating just 1 kg less!!!

      From what I can gather it’s different for everyone, including the ease out there’s still a fairly long way to go, having lost a kg, well that’s quite a bit, so be patient and all will be well ;)

    Day 5
    I have sore throat still and less energy today, but no headaches. I stayed in bed nice and warm for most of the day then went for a walk. I’m wondering if anyone else is having flu like symptoms???

      Hi, Lorraine!
      I had flu symptoms on the second day. today is my 6th day and all is just perfect except weight does not go down :(((( From time to time I feel cold. that’s it.
      Be strong. you are doing it for yourself and it is only 10 days from all days of your life. Not many. Right?

        Thanks Anna your support was welcome this morning. I had a much better day today, energy good, though still with cold but that’s my fault because I went a bit mad in the garden! Suffering now :/

    Day 4, still have cold and dry sore throat.
    Last night I experienced a healing event, I should of been sleeping but my brain wouldn’t let me. So lying in bed all calm and nice, I was tuning into my body, I noticed that the left side of my body was busy and I likened it to the motorway maintenance crew at night doing repairs in a Sutle way, there were sensations of itching flitting through the left side of my body very much like connecting the meridians, and in my feet also and especially in the digestive track it lasted for a couple of hours or more then stopped and that was that, it was awesome!
