It’s Way Easier with the Support of a Group

For many of us, The Master Cleanse Experience is all about starting fresh, making changes and sharing with each other for support and encouragement. And since we all eat so much over the holidays, I have noticed that many people are likely to start the Master Cleanse after New Years, Easter, Summer Holidays and after Fall Holiday. It seemed logical to create The Quarterly Master Cleanse Group Cleanse.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore, we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

We also provide 5 topics to post comments about to further structure the advice and questions from our participants. Our entries on the these specific topics will act as a Daily Journal, open for the support of, and from the entire community. Each quarterly cleanse, we’ll reward all those who leave comments in general, but specifically, if you complete the entire Master Cleanse, and Journal Daily on these Daily Journal Pages, you’ll be eligible for some really great rewards.

Post Your Comments Each Day on These Diary Journal Pages

Dates for the Master Cleanse Group Cleanse Experience. If you must start the a day or two before or after our dates and you still want to participate, simply make your comments in your own journal using Microsoft Word or any other Text editor on your computer. Then simply post your feelings on the appropriate days and topics. Registration is always open for Open Classes, the day before The Ease-In date for each event.

Each Group Experience will start on the first FULL Monday (never the day following, but the next week) Following each major holiday or seasonal change of Winter (Christmas and New Years), Spring (Easter), Summer (Independence Day), and Fall.

Duration of the Group Cleanse

Each Group Cleanse will last 16 days including both the Ease-In, Lemonade Diet, and Ease-Out. The total time on the Lemonade Diet will be 10 Days. We start on the first full Monday after a major holiday. In my opinion the timing is the easiest after these major holidays, and on these particular days. This allows for us to Start the Ease-In on a Friday. The Lemonade Diet will start on the following Monday and conclude 10 days later. The Ease-Out will begin on Thursday and end on Saturday, leaving Sunday for the first full day of eating wisely.

Group Cleanse Comment Posting

Once you register (and even if you don’t) you can start to post your experiences on each topics pages by posting your comments to each page.

Most of all enjoy the experience and HAPPY CLEANSING…

Does anyone recommend just a liquid calorie diet when coming off the cleanse. such as juicing veggies and fruits etc.

    sorry of if duplicate…

Lemonade Diet Day 6, having the runs and teeth hurt, keep going 4 more days? I’ve been chasing with water and brushing, teeth still hurt. Have always had sensitive teeth. I’m not taking laxative or SWF, but have the runs, 5-8x a day. Ideas?

I LOVE the master cleanse and think it is the best thing anyone can do for their health. I have done it with maple syrup, and also with pure fresh squeezed sugar cand juice (I think think sugar cane juice is the best-it is mentioned as a good alternative in the original book, “Healing for the Age of Enlightenment”-but is not available in all parts of the world. Fresh sugar cane juice is also of the grass family and being raw, is biogenic) Now I’m in the Middle East where both maple syrup and fresh sugar can juice are very hard to get. I’m considering doing it with date syrup. Any experience with alternative sweeteners? Maybe honey? I’d appreciate any feedback. Now I’m I’m fired up about the Master Cleanse again after looking at this website and think I will go ahead with the date syrup!

Hi! I’m starting my cleanse tomorrow, this will be my 3rd time, the first 2 times were VERY successful and I managed to keep the weight off for quite a while. However, I have been very stressed lately, considering I am coming to an end of my senior year of high school and I deal with stress and emotional problems by eating. I definitely want to break this habit and end my senior year being comfortable with my body, and I think that this cleanse will be a great jumpstart for that. I’m really looking forward to this :) one question though, I have the syrup and lemon juice but I don’t have any purified water :/ however I do have a water purifier on the faucet, will this be good enough to use for the cleanse temporarily? Thanks

      Imani,

This is what the website says:

“We recommend 3 ways to ensure your water is pure and appropriate for the Cleanse:

      You can use Water Ionizer
Install good Water Filter for your tap water
Or check your local health-food store for Purified Bottled Water”

I think you will be okay with a water filter for the tap. That’s what I’m doing as well. Good luck!!!

Nikken Pi Mag water filter gives you the best water in the world hands down! Pi Mag alludes to ‘the water of life’. What a combo with the master cleanse!

I remember reading on here to drink it after you hear your tummy rumbling like when the salt water is basiclly doing its job so it can make the process easier.

Day 1 Lemonade – looks like I am a day behind but I didn’t see that there was a group clease until just now! Well that’s great because I will be able to see all of you celebrating your last day and telling me how great you feel on my day 9 and perhaps that will get me through my last day too! I did NOT ease in. I’m worried about that having read some other comments i’ve seen posted. I did eat soup and veggies for most of the day yesterday, but I know that is different.

I’m doing this cleanse because a. I just got divorced on the 5th of this month…felt like time for a fresh start and new beginning, b. 2011 was the hardest year of my life (almost lost my job, my parents had major financial problems, depression and my own marriage coming to an end), c. I’ve had problems losing and maintaining a healthy weight since I was 25, and it’s all because I “eat my feelings”. The Master Cleanse feels like a symbolic way to flush out the negativity and start my life freash, beginning with treating my body with respect. :) I’m very excited!

Good luck Heath. Today is my second day. I didn’t ease in as well. I decided not to because I was on a diet for 5 weeks and lost 10 pounds, and I thought I could do it. It was much harder than I thought. well its been over a month since you posted, how did it go?

IT WAS AWESOME!!! I lost 15lbs (gained about 3 lbs back so not bad, been done for about a month now)…the first 3 days were rough but I got through them and the rest were cake! I felt wonderful. It has totally transformed my eating habits. The only negative i have to report is that i lost a lot of muscle mass – i felt really squishy and weird…i though i lost a lot of weight my arms and legs giggled a lot and look funny – that is slowly going away now that i am lifting again…also, be sure to drink the lemonade thru a straw and brush your teeth after – on day 9 i had excruciating tooth sensitivity due to the acid in the lemonade…its all gone now.

Thanks for the advice. I forgot to drink the lemonade mix with a straw. Thank you for reminding.

Hi Heather, all bad things have something positive in the final view of it. This step is a real winner if you ask me. Just follow through ‘the cleanse’ on all levels of your life. It will be transformational!
