Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

    Day three. I am really getting into a ritual of juicing the lemons each glass. I have done the fast before but made jugs of the full solution in the morning and drank it through out the day. After reading through the more extensive information Mike has provided on this site, I am making each glass individually. I like the ritual its creating for me. My body knows its about to be fed when the sound of the juicer buzzes up. Its like my daughters guinea pigs squeaking each time they hear a bag crinkle in the kitchen they know they are about to get some good treats. The Juicer gets me squeaking! :):):)

    dear all….so today was ease in, lots of fruits and tea…i am comitted. tomorrow will be day 1…. i m doing this together with my partner, and we will give up smoking at the same time too…plus othe bad habits, coffee…the ocasional alcohol etc…otherwise we have a super healthy lifestyle…sports, pescatarian, organic and no processed food….so perhaps it will be easier for us. Now here is the challenge-i will write about each day….
    1) can we work out….how is my energy level
    2)can i concentrate at work
    3) very important …sex drive (usually we go crazy at least once a day …how about next 7 days)

    Day 4567 were normal days despite the reduced energy I was able to go through the normal daily activities. Today is day 9 for me and I am looking forward to tomorrow. For a newbie I must say that it wasn’t as bad as anticipated. I look very pale and have lost 12 pounds. Yesterday my cheeks were very flushed but today all that have disappeared. 1 more day to go and I’m feeling great! Yes!!!

      hahaha. I thought you were on day four thousand!! I thought holy crap if she can do four thousand days I should be able to make it to day four tomorrow!!

    Day 3 was not so bad and now I’m into Day 4 which already I feel great. However I have only done the SWF once time and I’m worried that I am not properly flushing. I did do the laxative tea last night and it woke me up at 2am with horrible stomach pain, but still not so much elimination. I suppose I have to just bite the bullet and do the SWF. I’m thinking maybe it would be better to do at night than in the mornings?? Anyways, my plan was to only do 7 days since I am leaving for a vacation Wed next week and want sufficient time to ease out. So Im over half way there and weigh 6 lbs. less than when I started.

    Almost the end of day 3 and I feel much better than 24 hours ago so I will be able to get some sleep tonight.

    No laxatives since last night but I’m still going frequently so I guess that’s fine, too.

    After 24 hours of misery and no sleep and feeling as if I had battery acid running through my veins, I vowed I was done.

    However, I decided to start with some warm herbal tea after 10 hours of nothing and my insides feel somewhat better.

    So, I’m going to give it a whirl today WITHOUT laxatives.

    Woohoo! Day 3 was a breeze! Had lots of energy and I did not feel hungry. I cannot handle the salt water flush so I have decided to stop that however my first day on green tea is going well. Looking forward to reaching day 10!

    Holy cow! Halfway through day 2 and I’m not liking it at all. For reasons I can’t explain, my lower back is killing me. The whole elimination process is gross.

    I did the SWF yesterday morning. Unpleasant. So, I took laxative pills last night and this morning (instead of SWF). Unpredictable and gross and my insides hurt!

    Thank The Lord for the Bullet! I clean my organic lemons, took seeds out and cut them than put them into my blender cup and whoosh! Instant smoothy, rinds and all. Spooned out the 2 tablespoons. I had drank it warm. I am feeling mad science like. It’s working!!!

      Love the enthusiasm, but you’re supposed to juice not blend. You want ZERO fiber.
