Group Cleanse Support Topic: Weight Loss and Physical Results

This page is a Support Topic Page for Weight Loss and Physical Results for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Weight Loss – Even though The Lemonade Diet is about so much more that weight loss, it is still an effective reduction diet. Weigh yourself each day. How much weight did you lose today? Are you happy or disappointing with the results? What were your expectations? Some people loose weight the day they start The Lemonade Diet. Some people don’t lose weight until well into the diet. Describe your daily experiences.

Physical – Talk about the way your body is reacting to the cleanse. Do you feel full of energy? Do you feel like you have a cold? Headaches on Day 2 but feeling great on day 8? Think about it, how do you feel today? Just pretend you are talking to your best friend and complaining about the hard parts and raving about the good.

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

    MC Day 3

    I stayed at my son’s house while they were on vacation and I spent a fair amount of time doing some spring cleaning (a little late) and got plenty of exercise and kept moving.

    I did come home today also and worked out on my Total Gym. As the pounds come off it’s more exciting to build muscle and get in shape.

    I feel so happy, today I weighed myself and I have lost 3lbs so far, I didnt want to start weighing myself every day but I decided to keep doing it to keep myself motivated. I was worried that I was not going to lose any weight but it has been so good I dont mind the fasting even though it has been very tempting.

    LEMONADE DIET – DAY 2 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> Exercising is helpful to energize the lymph and keep the lymph moving… so I have been walking and stretching….As for weight loss, I’ve tried so many things: Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem, hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin aka the pregnancy hormone), Slim Fast, Green Coffee Bean, Dr. Strand’s “Healthy Diet” counting proteins and gylcemic index of foods (pain in the rear and complicated), Fit 4 Life by Harvey & Marilyn Diamond, and just sensible eating of small 6 meals a day with exercise, and just eating like I eat and EXERCISING LIKE A MANIAC… unbelievable all that I have tried over time….

    Only three things have worked effectively… (1) eating only all raw vegan foods for 11 months… I lost a TON of weight… (2) 3 Day Energy Fast by Pamela Serure… I would 20lbs in 3 days, and then (3) doing the Fall Session of The Master Cleanse……. hhhmmmm…. only the programs of clean foods and cleaning foods work….

    but then I sabotoge my great efforts by eating cooked foods… its time I stop harming myself, and only HEAL myself

      Day 2 – Tues 7/15 – I was gone from home from 6am to midnight — also, there has been a series of rain storms in our area and flash flood warnings and high winds… so our internet service was down… and I only have internet on my pc, not my cell phone… so I am committed to the journaling… just had to wait to early morning to post Day 2 because of all the technical difficulties

    Day 2 of the master cleanse – I only hit the snooze once this morning when the alarm went off. I won’t be stepping on the scale everyday like I did when I first did the MC in June. I just want to be surprised when the 10 days is over. Feeling good and looking forward to tomorrow. I am off work tomorrow so I don’t have to see that nasty coworker and her turkey sandwich, Good night all.

    So far, I have not noticed any weight come off…..wondering when that is likely to happen. It would be really nice to have some weight off.

    MC Day 2 Physical and weight loss.

    I stopped weighing myself daily because it’s frustrating for me if the scale doesn’t go down! I am focusing on how well I feel.

    Taking time to do some physical exercise is also working and it will take some time to see results. However, by putting in “a little” everyday…I know I will be reaping good result.

    I have epilepsy and the meds I take make me gain weight, so if I dont stay active and watch what I eat, I easily can gain 5-8lbs per week. I used to weight 130 and was happy with my weight but two pregnancies later plus meds have not let me go down back to my weight. The pregnancies are more of my own excuse because I lost all the weighy with the oldest of my three kids. I was 192 at my heaviest and even though I am not that bad now, I still believe that this cleanse is what I need for my body to start losing the weight I have accumulated during the last 7years.

    LEMONADE DIET – DAY 1 – NEWBIE VETERAN -> … I did do the EASE IN process… but did NOT blog about it… mostly b/c I was out-of-town with no access to the internet without paying a small fortune to the hotel for internet services! …. I will tell everyone that I exercise every single of these three days… stretching and dancing!!! and lots and lots of WALKING!!!!!…. so i feel the movement in my lymphatic system has helped me with a jump start to my weight loss and over all physical health…. since this is the physical topic… I will admit I wear alot of black to help me look slimmer, but on Sat night, July 12th, I asked a friend to sew me a colorful skirt of vibrant shiny blue/green/purple with tons of GOLD specks in it… and I have red hair… so I felt golden all over, radiant like the sun on sunday when we really doing the best work to release all that not serve as at the seminar this weekend… I feel great today! This round of Master Cleanse I will lose an incredible amount of physical weight b/c i released a TON of fear and negativity…. let’s celebrate that needle on the scale going DOWN!!!! I celebrate what will happen in my near future (10days from now)

    My goal is to loose 10 pounds in 10 days.

    I’m 66 years young and have about 40 pounds to lose. Taking it off responsibly so it stays off and eating sensibly when the cleanse is done.

    Day 1 ~ Lemonade Diet ~ Newbie
    I am trying to lose those last ten pounds. Most of those are vanity pounds I realize, but regardless, I have been trying for the last three years to get them off but my body is very resistant. I have done Weight Watchers, and that works, but ONLY if I stick to it, which I am usually unsuccessful at because I stress eat and then don’t log out of guilt. If I lose 10 lbs on this diet I will be SHOCKED that my body finally let go. I exercise pretty regularly (mostly Jazzercise) and am nervous about continuing to do so on this diet. I think I will just walk. Current weight: 145.0
