If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?
Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.
What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the proccess like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

Im on day 3 of my second MC. Under “common mistakes”, what the gentleman says about the urge to eat being as strong and ingrained in us as procreation or flight from danger; and that eating mostly being psychological — that is definitely the hardest part. Im never hungry. Not physically anyways. But the minutes feel like hours when Im just sitting around, when Id normally be busying myself in the kitchen chopping/dicing/measuring….or grocery shopping….or washing dishes from meal preparation. So much activity revolves around the kitchen!!!! So when you’re on the MC, there’s this huge void of activity.
Oh sure, I went to yoga this morning. Went to whole foods for more lemons/limes. I could go for a jog, but the weather isnt great (although it isnt horrible so still may go). Its the weekend, so Ive just been loafing around my apartment all afternoon, watching movies and surfing the net. Im off tomorrow, then Tues-Sat will be okay because I’ll be occupied with the work week.
I feel very good though, and yoga was unbelievable this morning. Im so flexible during the MC. This is actually my second MC in the span of a month. The first one went so well, I wanted to squeeze in another one before memorial day. I would love to do this monthly, and look forward to the adventure of doing so… =)

Ease Out Day 3 – A few days late with my last post because i had 2 accidents with my hands and so had two days off the computer. The first one was Master Cleanse related – because i was only going to have one glass of lemonade i tried to squeeze a lemon by hand, it was a bit under ripe my hand slipped the lemon went one way my hand the other and straight onto the glass i was squeezing it into – it shattered – ouch! The second one could have been embarrassing and i will relate with in my weight loss and physical results diary entry as its result is quite pertinent to the Master Cleanse. Anyway, ive had a lovely day eating salads and veg. One of my favourite veggies to eat raw is grated courgette. Its amazing in a salad and sometimes i use it as spagetti and have a tomato based sauce with it – scrummy!!! I dont eat tomato cold in salads very often unless ive managed to find some that smell amazing but i replace them with black seedless grapes so you get that lovely sweet taste that tomato gives you. I actually prefer the taste and grapes are great with savoury foods.

Lemonade Diet Day 7 (includes laps on day 6)
As the title implies i have had a laps on the evening of day 6. Friends invited me to hangout and it eventually lead to a meal and i did not bother explain about the diet. Had a 1 and 1/2 slice of pizza (I know how stupid was that??!!)
Do i feel guilty? No. Does it makes me sad i eat knowing full well i could have gone without eating? Yes. Am i gonna stop the diet now that i have had a solid meal? NO!
I have been around long enough to know that glitches happen and perfection is attained mainly through experiance. And yesterday’s meal will be my experiance.
I am not sure how many days did i set my detox back or whether or not i am going to reach my 10 lbs weight loss goal but i have had healing events and experienced weight loss, and out of respect for the effort already made i will definitely see this whole thing through to the end.
In the interest of full disclosure from here on i will add to my comments title, in addition to the days in the diet, the words “Including Day 6′s laps”.

Ease Out Day 2 – Lemonade for breakfast this morning and whizzed up soup all day. Delicious. I cant use onions because of IBS and the dreadful wind they cause so I was a bit worried about the taste because until I was told to cut out onions (along with a lot of other normal to me foods) all my soups were started with a dry fried onion. But I did it just the same as normal then added lots of rosemary and sage. It turned out even nicer than normal!! Stanely Burroughs says in his Master Cleanse book that if you want to you can eat a few crackers with the soup so I did and it was so lovely to crunch into something after so long. Cant wait for my first bowl of cornflakes for one of my just before bed snacks.

than the lemons?
Ease Out Day 1 – I really like the fresh orange juice but I seem to have accidently thrown away the larger attachment on my electric juicer so oranges are a bit trickier to squeeze using the smaller lemon sized one. I have felt hungry today so ive also had 4 glasses of Lemonade – not sure if that is ok to do but its done now anyway and im really really looking forward to starting my soup tomorrow. Its all made up and ive whizzed mine up and left my husbands with lumps in. Its smells lovely and im soooooo looking forward to having something savoury in my mouth after all the sweetness of the Lemonade drink.

Lemonade Diet Day 10 – Theres not much to say about the process any more by day 10 you feel as if you have been doing it all your life and its completely natural. I went out today and brought 6 pipless oranges thinking that it would be plenty then realised that I have to drink orange juice all day tomorrow and that 6, even though they are quite big, oranges isn’t going to go far. Im not sure if we can top up with Lemonade if we get hungry but I guess the orange juice will have more ‘bits’ in it than the lemons?

Lemonade Diet Day 10-
Well, when I woke this morning I had water and a few sips of lemonade and went right to the bathroom to eliminate. I then read the email from Mike saying congratulations you have arrived and I thought, “Oh, this means I can stop now and my body wanted me to”. So, I had some OJ, boiled some potatoes, onions and garlic and took a can of my organic diced tomatoes from the cupboard and headed out the door to go teach.
I sipped my OJ and water during the lessons and had already made up my mind that I would break the juice fast at lunch by pureeing my veggies. The soup was divine! I got full on only half a bowl and had the other half an hour or so later. I had soup for dinner when I got home and that felt good too.
I am very happy with my progress on the master cleanse and consider myself still to be on a liquid diet and will be for the next 3 days. Now, with smoothies and soups. This has been an amazing experience and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to do it with such supportive online community. Thanks everyone and best wishes in your next few days easing out. :-)

Lemonade Diet Day 2
I can’t quite claim to be on day 2 since i did have a solid meal yesterday at 7 pm right after spending the entire day helping a friend move to a new apartment. I am fine with the choice because simply a lemonade wouldn’t have been enough to recover. (My arms, back and legs still hurt). Having said that i will continue with the lemonade diet with today being day 2 and hopefully there will not be any further interference.
