The Process and The Lemonade Diet
This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me? Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience. What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the proccess like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

Don't do it alone...

We Start in -26 Days: Why go this alone...
Lemonade Diet Day 1
I am halfway through my day. I notice that I am not hungry and have no cravings, which is unexpected. Also, I am usually very bloated, but am not at all today. Very nice.
Here is my issue – The lemonade mixture tastes absolutely revolting to me! It is actually the maple syrup that I don’t like the taste of. Does anyone have any tips to help me get it down? Perhaps I can do a “shooter” with only the maple syrup and cayenne real quickly, and then enjoy just the water with lemon juice?
I actually prefer the salt water mixture to the lemonade mixture, and that is bad. I love the salt water flush (I may be alone in that opinion)… it makes me feel so ‘relieved’.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Lemonade diet day 6
Being such a junk-food junkie, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to keep at the diet for the full 10 days. Following the advice on this site has made it so easy.
The three-day ease-in made it much easier. I don’t feel hungry at all, even though I have been looking at recipes every day.
I have always had trouble drinking enough water, and this it is difficult to remember to dring enough water each day, but I am getting better.
The hardest part of the cleanse is the SWF, but I make myself do this in the morning, and my cleanse is going well. I know that I will make it to the full 10 days.
Last Day of Ease In
I am a 30 year old female, healthy body weight, but I’ve been experiencing stomach problems for nine months. Test after test has come back inconclusive. After losing sleep last night because of stomach cramps, this morning I woke up determined to try something new. I’m taking one day (today) to ease into the master cleanse and tomorrow will start the lemonade diet (my first time). I am a healthy eater, so I’m a little nervous about hunger pangs, and am concerned about the possibility that the MC may make my stomach problems worse instead of better. We’ll see!
1st day of cleanse
Hi,
well I’ve been currently looking at different detox cleansers and finally decided to start the lemonade diet! I’ve heard some great things about it, so I got up today and bought everything I needed. I figured since I am on vacation for a week I can try and cleanse since I will be at the comfort of my home. I just finished drinking my first glass of lemonade and it actually tastes really good! Now the salt water….wish I could say the same! it was absolutely nasty! I told a couple of my friends I was doing it, and they all said I was crazy and was gonna give up very fast, I loveeee to eat!!! I’m not doing it to prove a point but to be healthier, it’s time for a change for once! Wish me luck cause I already have a headache thinking of all the food I’m not going to be able to eat for a ten days! Hay Dios mio what have I started!!
Hasta Mañana amigos…..
Hi Diego,
We are starting at about the same time. Today for me is my Ease-In Day, tomorrow I begin the Lemonade Diet. I have a healthy appetite, but am surprised that today I am not feeling hungry. Hope the days that follow go well.
Good luck to you, too!
Ease-Out Day 3
So far, my third day of this easing-out phase has been the most pleasurable. About an hour after my morning cuppa (a warm liter of lemon water), I cut open a delicious grapefruit and ate it in the same way I would eat an orange. When I was a child, my grandmother would slice our grapefruits into halves across the middle, then use her dandy grapefruit sectioning knife to loosen the juicy triangular morsels which were made to glitter with a tantalizing layer of sugary crystals. Sound familiar? I have been grateful many times over, to have freed myself from that addictive habit of sugared grapefruit and am shocked when I occasionally see my father still practicing the same ritual.
For lunch I made an organic baby greens salad with avocado, wrapped in a sheet of Nori. My simple dressing was just of olive oil, lemon juice & Bragg’s liquid aminos. I also munched just 6 of my Quinoa crackers with about 1/2 a teaspoon of coconut oil. Mmmmmm, so good!
On our hike I will bring a liter of lemon water and some celery stalks, in case we’re out long enough that I get hungry again. I’m liking this new simple way of thinking about food. Feels good.
Ease-Out Day 2
My morning began at 8:00 a.m. with a liter of warm lemon water. About an hour later, I savored a lovely 10 oz glass of… plain water. That tasty beverage was then followed by some more…. plain water. Repeat this splendid variety of liquids until 10:00 Am. At this time, I was at my Dr’s office where I was scheduled to have a fasting blood sugar & cholesterol check and also to, finally, weigh myself! (Sorry, you’ll have to go to the Weight Loss page for this info :)
OK, so this was an unusual morning. I figured I might at well get the one final 12 hours of fasting out of way now rather than later, when my weight would most likely be higher.
The rest of my Day 2 ease-out consisted of:
* fresh-squeezed, diluted, orange/grapefruit juice, sipped first thing after my blood draw!
* a very well deserved, post-blood-draw bowl of veggie Pho, without the rice noodles, at my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. I slowly consumed an oh-so delightfully aromatic and yummy broth, with a nice assortment of crunchy veggies and a fresh lime. Bliss!
* more lemon water, this time with cayenne
* a smoothie made with fresh squeezed oj, 12 soaked almonds and an organic, raw, fiber blend made by Garden of Eden
* more lemon water and herbal tea, which I’m sipping on now
KT,
I ate the same exact things today! The veggie Pho without the noodles was the most delicious it has ever been. Congratulations to you for finishing the cleanse. Enjoy your raw day tomorrow!
Thanks Mrs J ;) Isn’t Pho yummy?!
All the best in health to you too!
Ease out day 2
The process?
hmmmmm….
I got up and mindlessly started juicing oranges,
so I mixed it with some water and saved it for sipping during the day.
I heated some veggie broth and had a wee bit and packed the rest for later.
I made a yummy veggie juice and added lemon!
I felt satisfied throughout most of the day.
Hope you all are well.
salads and fruit tomorrow!
yay
