Support Topic: The Process and The Lemonade Diet

This page is a Support Topic Page for The Process and The Lemonade Diet for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

The Master Cleanse is a process. And it’s more than just making the lemonade diet drink each time you’re hungry. To successfully get through a protocol like this you need to consciously into a process, a routine so that you come to depend on what’s next. For example, first thing, SWF, next perhaps your normal morning routine, followed by the eliminations from the SWF. Once those start you can have your first lemonade. Maybe you want 4 lemonades by lunch, and 6 after. When is your peppermint tea break? Do you workout during the day? How do you manage work schedule? You get the point.

What is the process you go through to make your Lemonade each day? Do you have any tips? How are you changing this process, if at all, over time? Do you use 2 chugabbles or make 1 glass at a time like Stanley Burroughs suggested. What alternatives to the Lemonade Diet have you used *(Check for generally accepted practices). Do you add anything to the process like Psyllium or Bentonite? How do you manage your day? Do you do make the Lemonade in the morning? Do you sip it all day or take big gulps when your most hungry?

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

Drink, Drink, Drink…..making up for lack of it yesterday. It seems like my body is absorbing it a lot more now, peeing less. A little Less lemon is also working better for my palette. The lemonade is tasting good, I don’t want to have it over power me so I get sick of it.I have a ritual with a glass bottle with the straw, this works well for me for drinking or travel. Also a tea pot and cup

Sorry Derryck for your set back. It’s a psychological war to overcome. Your body will thank you for hang in in

I’m finding that making my lemonade a little weaker is better for me. I’m using a half a lemon with each drink and it is tasting much tastier. I also like to follow it with a cup of calming tea to calm those anxious moments.

Hi everyone, hope you got safely to the other side of the 5-day!! Yay!! I am feeling a little confused. My body is not ready to give up the cleanse. Perhaps because I am still looking for an unbroken 5 days of cleanse… One thing I can definitely say is that each day, I have learned something new about myself, my triggers and my weak points (for now mostly observations.. with a few corrective actions.)

Thank you for the support and comments, Susan! I will continue for a few days more, and see how I feel.

My weight also went all over the map. Seems to have settled down into a gradual decline..

Hi all – confession time!! huge fall off the bandwagon yesterday. I ate a salad (all raw) in the middle of the day. But sadly, I think that I set back the cleanse considerably. I do not know why I did it. I am still back-tracking to figure it out.

Experience. I know that the salad was hard to digest! It sat and sat and sat, and it also made me super tired. I was shocked to see that within 30 minutes, I could not keep my eyes open.

Taking today as a new day –

I’m reluctantly on the bandwagon. The hardest part is always making the decision and getting started. On day one I try and ignore the negative thoughts in my head about the long stretch ahead. I’ve cleared my calendar and I am ready. Today is day2

I order my kits online through maple valley. I started last week Wednesday. I didn’t do any ease in. I went straight making my lemonade drinks following the recipes post on here. I mix enough for 2cup a times fresh squeeze lime. 8-12glasses a day. Also drinking my laxative tea in the morning and I switch it up drinking at night. But I try to drink it at night. I currently homeworking so it convenient for me. I not doing the flush salt water.

I’m not craving but I do feel kind of lightheaded and chill so got to make sure you drink a lot of H20 and take a walk. I don’t feel hungry or anything even when I around food right in my faces lol. I notice I will fall asleep very fast normally then I would through.

I intended to do the three day ease in, but I was on the road during day one of ease in (road trips are bad food days). so my ease-in ended up being two days of mostly raw (fruits/veg).

Today is day one. From my last MC, I noticed that day 1 is a “tired” day, so I like to start them on weekend days (when I can take a snooze). As it is – I just took a snooze anyway..

I already know that a key part of getting to end of day “intact” is to get to bed early.
Hope you are all doing well. Liking the comments.

Day 1!!! It is a cold, grey morning and I have the next 2 days off to start my master cleanse. I have tried to do it before, however had never done a cleanse or detox so only did it for 7 days – I am excited to have a go at the 10 day cleansing process. I remember the first two days being the hardest, will feeling of tiredness and even headaches at points, but I know once I’m past that point it’s really a lovely feeling.
My only concern is the maple syrup in the lemonade….I have yet to find anywhere around me with grade C maple syrup. I know there’s a huge difference in A to C, but does anyone know if using B grade (if it comes down to that) instead of C will make a huge difference?
    Thanks, looking forward to posting!
