Weight Loss and Physical Results

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post.

Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Post your experiences on these topics:

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

Please provide 100 Words Each Day – Don’t worry that’s not that much. The paragraph below is 100 words..

Weight Loss – Even though The Lemonade Diet is about so much more that weight loss, it is still an effective reduction diet. Weigh yourself each day. How much weight did you lose today? Are you happy or disappointing with the results? What were your expectations? Some people loose weight the day they start The Lemonade Diet.

Some people don’t lose weight until well into the diet. Describe your daily experiences.
Physical – Talk about the way your body is reacting to the cleanse. Do you feel full of energy? Do you feel like you have a cold? Headaches on Day 2 but feeling great on day 8? Think about it, how do you feel today? Just pretend you are talking to your best friend and complaining about the hard parts and raving about the good.

I’m down 41/2 lbs from my staring weight. Yippee! Feeling physically fantastic today. Woke up with no grogginess. I’m always amazed how pain free my body feels on this diet and so fast. Also nice to have a quiet digestive system, very serene and peaceful inside.

I thought I just submitted my post but I don’t see it. oops! I had a very long day and not enough lemonade. I can’t drink now or I will be up using the bathroom all night. A 60 mile detour to get home, I bought gum for the ride to get myself home. Will get on the scale in the morning and report also will be drinking a lot tomorrow.

Day 2 I don’t even want to look at the scale yet. I’m afraid it will go up again. One foot in front of the other….

You guys are so nice. I will weigh in in the morning and report. I had a very busy day today wasn’t sure how I would get thru it, then a 60 mile detour getting home, as overturned semi and spill. I bought sugarless gum to get me thru the driving. I only had two lemonades all day, I just worked out that way…eeks! I will drink a lot more tomorrow.

Susan, be not afraid. However, try to make a habit of going on the scale at the same time every day. You might know all this already, but – I try to go on the scale every morning – before eating or drinking anything – and after a visit to the loo. After sleep
      – calories burnt during pre-sleep ;) and sleep activities.
      – lost water weight as well. (most dehydrated then) :(

Remember, one cup of water can change what the scale tells you by over 1 pound.

We await the results. We are here for you, whatever the results. :) <3

Today is Day 2 for me. I was discouraged at first becasue this is my third attempt just starting! but now on day 2 i feel empower to complete it once and for all. I want to do it for 10 days minimum. Overall i feel great..but just starting. Not too many symptoms physically yet just emotionally. Guess wasnt well prepared mentally to have solid food everyday! BUT doing good so far. I’ve lost 1.6 lbs in only one day. YEY!!

Today I am starting a 30-60 day master cleanse! (We will see how I feel by 30 days. And I will just take it 7-10 days at a time after that.) I am really over weight and it’s become hard to exercise like I used to so I am looking to lose a lot. This is my third attempt at the master cleanse but this time I have a POSITIVE attitude and although it’s only day two for me I feel extremely happy like “hey I can do this!” I lost three pounds on day one! I can’t wait to see how much I have lost tomorrow morning! I am drinking twelve servings a day with one tablespoon of maple syrup in each serving. I am trying to stay as active as I can and keep my mind busy, this helps a lot! It’s not all about the weight loss though. I definitely want to detoxify my body and just to a total reset on my life! I am praying lots and God has been great helping me with my attitude and mental strength. Good luck to everyone who is on or beginning this awesome new journey!

I just started this morning. I was totally surprised by how good it tasted! For those doing 16 oz 3 times a day instead of 8 oz 6+ times a day are you just doubling the recipe? 4 tablespoons of lemon juice, 4 table spoons of maple syrup 1/5 teaspoon of cayenne? That plan seems more realistic for a busy schedule rather than having to make the juice many times a day. Also, has any one been exercising? thanks and good luck to all

I am on day 3 of the Master Cleanse, this is my 2nd time doing this cleanse. The 1st time I did the 10 days after I quit smoking. It helped immensely. This time I am doing it because I have recently found out I have celiac disease, and I need to drastically change my diet. After my 1st cleanse, I still had my usual bad food cravings so I am hoping to go longer than the 10 days. I have been doing research, and I see that people can go for 60 days. I don’t think I could go that long, but I am going to try for 21 days. Has anyone else done this? How long did you go for?

Hi SeSe, I’m starting today 2/19/15. I’m glad to know that someone else is on this group cleanse with me. This my 3rd time. I try to do it every year for lent. This year after the 10 days, my plan is to continue a lifestyle of no meat or dairy for 90 days. The 1st 3 days are usually the most challenging after that it is smooth sailing. Praying for our joint success on the cleanse. Have a great day. I have to go make my lemon juice mixture for work. I try to drink 6 16 oz containers a day plus water.

Today is Day 2 for me. Yesterday went great since I had the day off of work which was good so that way I can see what a day was like. 3 times a day I drink 16 oz of the mixture as my breakfast, lunch and dinner. In between I have peppermint tea which feels good having something warm go down then my smooth move tea before bed. The SWF has been working like the website said it would Day 1 more so than Day 2. Today I am noticing my stomach is starting to growl but I plan to work through it by drinking some water. When I weighed myself this morning I was down 2 pounds! I want to lose weight but mostly I want to cleanse myself of all the toxins held up in my body and I feel that is happening with the SWF. I’m going to keep this going and see where I end up.
