Group Cleanse Support Topic: Weight Loss and Physical Results

This page is a Support Topic Page for Weight Loss and Physical Results for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Weight Loss – Even though The Lemonade Diet is about so much more that weight loss, it is still an effective reduction diet. Weigh yourself each day. How much weight did you lose today? Are you happy or disappointing with the results? What were your expectations? Some people loose weight the day they start The Lemonade Diet. Some people don’t lose weight until well into the diet. Describe your daily experiences.

Physical – Talk about the way your body is reacting to the cleanse. Do you feel full of energy? Do you feel like you have a cold? Headaches on Day 2 but feeling great on day 8? Think about it, how do you feel today? Just pretend you are talking to your best friend and complaining about the hard parts and raving about the good.

If you are not participating, you can follow the post to get inspiration to try the cleanse or answer the most basic question: Is The Master Cleanse right for me?

Keep it simple, just talk in your own language about your daily experience. The more you are yourself, the more others will connect with you – and the more you can connect with what they are saying – which is what we want after all, a strong support network through a group experience.

If you haven’t yet, go ahead and register for the Group Cleanse to get our “Guided Cleanse Experience” email sequence timed to correspond with your registration and the important days as the come up during our scheduled group cleanses.

    Ease Out Day 3

    Feeling good and I am so happy I completed the master cleanse. I lost 12 lbs and my stomach did go down not bloated anymore. I am going to try to not add any dairy into my diet and stop with all the sweets and pay attention to what I put in my body going forward. I have taken the lactaid pills so that I can still consume dairy since i am lactose intolerant. Looking forward to eating vegetarian and do more juicing. I am glad I made the decision to do the master cleanse this was a great experience for me. I have enjoyed this with the group and everyone has been a big help to me being successful with attaining my goal.

    EASE OUT – DAY 3 – NEWBIE ->

    just got home from work after being gone 8am to 11pm… worked 13 hr shift + 2hr total commute is 15hrs away from home…
    I really am determined to get this weight off and keep it off… I keep imagining myself as this very skinny runner… just running everywhere, and just as fast, as Forrest Gump!!!… so people can say… “she sure is fast”!!! 1.5yrs ago I was 65lbs lighter and running 10-12minute miles in 5k races… I can get back there… and get my time under 10minutes, even at my older ripe old age… today my guy-neighbor-friend asked me if I wanted to join his gym with him… he has more weight to lose than me, and his mindset about food is way far off from mine, so try not to talk to him so I don’t could-a-would-a-should-a on him… but I know he just wanted me to give him rides to the gym cuz he does not drive… I don’t want to go the gym b/c I don’t want any gawkers looking at me… yes gawking (staring openly and stupidly at someone)… so I just keep to my private program right now… I’m going to stay raw vegan the next three weeks… mostly green smoothies, salads, and fresh nut/seed milks… then after mid February I’m going for the 40day Master Cleanse.. to help me get where I want to be weight-wise and I can get back to running this spring

    Ease Out DAY 3 (Newbie) – I weighed myself and gained 1.4 lbs. back. However, I am due to start my period today. I am absolutely excited that I am not feeling fat and sluggish while preparing to go camping. It is hard to feel uncomfortable in my own skin in what are already uncomfortable living situations: sleeping in sleeping bags, walking around in hiking boots, lugging gear around and keeping up with adolescent boys. My camping clothes felt looser and therefore I felt better layering clothes for the weather. I felt good, that is until our tragic accident today. After the accident, and after my son was sewn up by the doctor, a HUGE headache came on and I haven’t really shaken it off all day, so after a long time of no drugs of any kind, I had to break down and take ibuprofen around 10pm tonight. I think it was the adrenaline wearing off.

    EASE OUT – DAY 2 – NEWBIE ->

    Water!!!!… from Dec. 21st, when I recommitted to raw vegan (but some cooked bites have happened, but no cooked meals), til we started our EASE IN WEEKEND DAYS… I was drinking 3/4 a gallon of water to 1+ gallon of water daily, plus eating the high water content raw foods, mostly in the form of liquid (green smoothies, fresh nut milks, juices from my Champion juicer)… lots of water in these raw vegan liquids too… but now that I’ve done this Master Cleanse, I only have 1 gallon of Lemonade daily, and not so much water, except for my morning lwarm lemon water and evening herbal laxative tea…. I don’t feel dehydrated or water deprived… I’m shocked for needing less water on the Lemonade Cleanse… maybe its because I had such a LONG EASE IN PHASE and really crazy detox then that I needed more water then than now? I determine my water needs based on a water calculator based on weight, climate, medications, exercise, etc. and I’m supposed to have over a gallon of water a day… I would have had more water if I did the daily SWF… I only did ONE cuz of work schedule… would I have lost even MORE weight if I had more water during our program? to flush out stuff?

    Ease Out DAY 2 (Newbie) – I plan on joining the next group in April. I have so much to learn, so much to rid from my body and so many bad habits to change. Still need to do this until I can get it right! I still weighed the same this AM. Yay! My feet have been cold this evening but not my hands. AND now both feet have a numbness in the middle toe. The left foot started right before bed last night. I looked this up last night on Google and found just about nothing other than related to sciatica (which I do have on my right side but my toes have never done that). Anyone have any ideas about what is going on with my feet? My sinuses are still great considering everyone around me is sick and I have really bad sinuses and we have an 80 lb. dog living inside the house.

    Day 11: Lemonade

    I’ve lost 8.3 lbs, most at the beginning. I love how I feel and will continue one more day as I have the supplies. I have to take down a massive pasted up mural in the alley behind my work tomorrow. I am worried about my energy level, but so far so good. The hardest part will be not eating the pizza I’m getting for the volunteers;) That will be Ease-out Day 1 for me, unless I want to stay on MC for longer. (I guess I’m taking it day-to-day now). Mentally it might be easier for me to stay on the diet tomorrow, too. Pizza sounds too tempting! lol! I’m happy everyone lost weight and is feeling great! Thanks for sharing your experiences with me, it has helped so much.

    Ease Out DAY 1 (Newbie) – My total weight loss is 9 lbs.!!! So Happy about that! I feel lighter and smaller. This is an awesome start to continue my weight loss and healthy living journey. I don’t want to go backwards after all this hard work and put gunk in my body. My waistline is smaller and that in itself is something to be thrilled about! I hope my results will encourage others to try this MC. I am looking forward to doing it again. if I don’t do it in March (I don’t know if that is too soon) then I am going to do it in mid April. OR whenever the next MC groups does it. (I am going to look this up now)

    EASE OUT – DAY 1 – NEWBIE ->

    one thing I really, really regret is NOT getting measurements before I started the Master Cleanse… I’ve been so busy lately that I have not stepped back to think what I could do to measure my success… yes I have lost weight… yes my clothes are more loose… yes I see the big bloat from my gut has flattened out… yes I feel so much better physically… but I did not think about measuring overall shrinking all over my body… one time I was trying that Herbalife stuff to lose weight.. and we measured our bodies, as well as weighing in on the scale, and learning the overall results was an eye-opener… well next time I will measure myself

    Lemonade Diet DAY 10 (Newbie) – Another .8 lbs lost. That is great. I can’t wait to see what I weigh tomorrow morning. I think that is when I will reveal the big final number. I woke up with a big blemish on my face which is weird but I guess my body is still detoxing stuff. I see why people go the full 40 days for big results. My scalp has never cleared up so yes, still stuff in my body to rid. I am wearing those pants today that I can pull up without unzipping or unbuttoning, and man, 5 more pounds and I won’t be able to wear them at all! Everyone in my home is sick with bronchitis and I have not been sick at all. Gotta love that!

    LEMONADE DIET – DAY 10 – NEWBIE ->

    Thank you Master Cleanse! Even though I have much more weight to lose, I have lost 8lbs so far and feel light as a feather! It’s quite remarkable to be be heavy set and know that fat and gravity is weighing me down (literally)… but internally I feel so wispy and clean and fresh

    Little tips that have helped me stay committed these past 10 days:
    (1) target clothing – bought the teal jacket two sizes to small so I can get into it
    (2) imaginary sword – that I use to slash away at temptation, either literally, or imagined in my head
    (3) only one cooked meal – only cooked 1 meal for my kids instead of 3 to avoid temptations
    (4) being away from the house alot
    (5) journaling and blogging
    (6) VISION – i see myself at age 30, very athletic thin and trim in a beautiful kelly green dress
    (7) Daily Affirmations – that include exercise, water, overall health, and my “why” I do the MC
    (8) light exercise – 30minute aerobic walking every other day, so 5 days
    (9) getting out in fresh air and sunshine… for my lungs, and to purify my thoughts

    what’s helped all of you keep with the program to get RESULTS with the weight loss
