Group Cleanse Support Topic: Detox and The Salt Water Flush (My Experience)

This page is a Support Topic Page for the Topic of Detox and The Salt Water Flush for our Master Cleanse Group Cleanse. Please check that page for details on our Quarterly Cleanses and our Individual Cleanses.

The Group Cleanse will not only give us the forum to support each other, doing The Master Cleanse together, but it also enables us to track our experiences by setting standards to the conversation. If we all just posted random thoughts we would get a lot less value from the comments. But if the comments are structured, and relevant by time and topic, we can gain even more insight, more quickly and more effectively. Therefore we ask participants to start and finish the Master Cleanse on the same dates.

This page is the place for participants in the The Master Cleanse Group Experience to post their daily entries. To post, simply leave a comment. You don’t have to be logged in to post. Please provide 100 words each day – don’t worry; that’s not that much. The paragraph below, for example, is 100 words.

Support Topic: Detox and The Salt Water Flush

The Salt Water Flush (SWF) might be the hardest part of the Master Cleanse, but it doesn’t have to be. It is essential to the cleanse because it facilitates the detox by flushing your system. What is working and what is not working. How are your movements? Are they successful? What do they look like? Are they getting lighter or darker? Are the becoming more frequent? Do you have other signs of detoxing, like breakouts or white tongue? The Master Cleanse is about Detox and daily eliminations are critical to the success of the cleanse. Is this Detox Diet successful so far?

Day 7 Lemonade Diet – I’m late posting but I have been doing pretty great with this! Did the flush every morning as instructed. But today I didn’t do 32 oz of SWF, I only drank 16 oz but did drink tea again. Feeling good. At work stomach is just rumbling drinking lots of water as well as my Lemonade drink. Have to run out an get more lemons! Maybe Limes will be ok? I have some of those. or just lemons?

Ease out day one. I never could get past the taste of the flush so I didn’t do it. I still had movements every day. they smelled like baby poop, so i figured it was still clearing out of me and that was a good thing. I do understand that the flush would have cleared more and gone deeper, but honestly i just couldn’t get it past my throat i wish i could have. When I do the cleanse again in nine months that will be my target goal. The SWF.

I would rather do the tea at night. Perhaps one day I will do the salt flush, but I gag easily and just the thought of salt makes me gag now.

Day 3. I cant seem to get the salt water flush past my gag reflex. I have done the cleanse before but without the salt water flush. it was too gross. seriously. However this time I really want to do the full cleanse and see the importance of the flush. I will take all Mikes tricks and give it a try tomorrow morning. I can only imagine what after a week of that powerful flush will be carried out of my body after years of sitting there creating a stink. :):):)

I’m on my 5th day & my movement after the SWF isn’t as intense or ‘complete’ as it was the first day. Should I add more salt? flushing is what’s most import at to me so I want to make sure I’m maximizing my commitment here. Thanks

Naturally your movements will lessen in significance as you have less and less solid food/waste to remove from your body. All is well. Carry on :)

I tried the swf on my first day, but couldn’t try it the second day. This is day 2 for me it is better than day 1. Plan to try the swf again tomorrow.

Short and to the point! Not ready!!!!! I have studied the topic from a few sources and is think pink salt is the way to go. It contains 84 minerals. It’s that or Celtic salt. I don’t know if people are becoming more aware or it’s just plain paranoia. For the first time in a while my blood pressure is normal. Just from day one. I did take my medications but it’s normal. I mean below 120/80 type of normal. So, I am interested in the salt flush. I don’t think one time will hurt to bad. But I am going to give lemon diet another day or so. My body is already going through not eating. I don’t wan to add salt to the ….wound. LOL. I say take your time no hurries. Give time for thought. As far as my body is concern this is the biggest project I have taken on in years. So I am mindful about the unknown. I will get there it’s just not today.

I’ve done the cleanse 1 time before with great results. It was just prior to my wedding. This time around I can’t seem to stomach the SWF. I can’t get it down at all. I think it’s mind over matter, lady time I did the cleanse I HAD to fit into my wedding dress, so in my mind I had no choice but to drink the SWF. Now, there’s really no urgency for the cleanse. Hence, can’t get the SWF down. I’m going to jut do another round of the smooth move tea in the morning.

Day 1. SWF seems like a pain, but I’m determined to see this through.
