Do I Use the SWF, the Laxative or Both?
Posted on 29. Sep, 2008 by Mike in FAQ
Many people do both, but it is not usually necessary. If you do the SWF (Salt Water Flush) properly, you WILL have a movement. Sometimes people get the mixture of salt/water wrong, and their body absorbs the salt. If the SWF is not working no matter what you do, try the laxative tea – I do, however, think the SWF is much more beneficial, since all that salt water bathes your intestines and helps clear things out.

I’m starting the cleanse tomorrow but am iffy on the laxative/SWF stuff. If I take the lax, do I do that every night, then just begin drinking the mixture in the morning when I wake up? Also, do they have to be natural or can I just use the generic stuff from the grocery store? If I’m doing the SWF, where can I buy non-iodized salt?

I’ve done the cleanse many times. For those of you who are unsure as to if to do the salt water flush or not: do it! It is so beneficial to your body. The ‘internal enema” cleanses you from your mouth all the way down through. It really doesn’t taste that bad. I know, you’re thinking of the times you got splashed by a wave in the ocean…no, it’s not like that. Make sure the water is purified and warm, not quite as warm as soup. And think of it as “chicken broth without the chicken.” Drink it down within 10 minutes. Love this cleanse!

Hey Tabitha, I am new myself but wanted to reply to your comment in case you didn’t find the information elsewhere!
You should drink the mix whenever you feel hungry, or at most 12 times per day. If you find you are still hungry all the time, dilute the mix with more water so you are filling up your belly with water and won’t feel as hungry.
I think 10 days is the standard amount of time to do a cleanse, but some people do it for up to a month at a time.
