Ease-Out: Stopping The Master Cleanse
Posted on 30. Dec, 2008 by Mike in The Master Cleanse
The Ease-out process is the exact same as the Ease-in, but in reverse. This is another reason I choose to do the Ease-in: it prepares me for the ease out. You will be tempted to jump-start this part of the process, but don’t. Consider this step ESSENTIAL. You may become nauseated if you start to eat too soon, so please don’t underestimate the importance of this process. On the other hand, don’t be scared to death either. You do risk some serious constipation or even worse – but if you do eat something too soon, you will likely be okay in the long run. If you are unsure at any time – consult a doctor. My words here are opinion only, and should always be considered informational not medical advice.
The most important factor to keep in mind during this stage is to drink a lot of water. Especially when you are fruit and veggie juicing. If you do not make broth, and opt for juices instead, it is important you understand that the juice will have a great deal of fiber, and you need to make sure you have enough water in your system to keep you from becoming constipated.
* Day 1 – Orange Juice – 3 1-liter orange juice with 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
* Day 2 – Fruit and Veggie Juice – or Broth
* Day 3 – Fruits and Veggies
* Day 4 – Regular Diet; however, you should try to eat live foods – grains, etc.

I’m on day 1 of the “ease out” process after 8 days on the Master Cleanse, and I feel really great! The only reason I stopped the cleanse a couple days under my 10 day goal is because I have functions this weekend that would be difficult if I was just drinking the lemonade. I’m curious if anyone else has trouble doing the cleanse because life gets in the way, so to speak. How do others deal with it?

Ease-Out-Day 4. I am having trouble having bowel movements on my own ever since I ended the master cleanse. Is it healthy to do the salt water flush everyday after the cleanse is over?

No, stop the flush and the tea at night. It may take some time for ur body to go back to normal. U can take cod liver daily it helps me.

I wanted to continue as well but since I had some events planned I decided to start on my “going off” meals. I don’t have the desire for what I use to eat and pray I can keep this going. I also kept looking at food and asking people about food but I felt really strong and was not tempted to eat any. The lemonade kept me feeling full.

Already in my eleventh day, I think I could continue forever. Not hungry at all. But I’ll stop today cause I guess I need my daily vitamin supply to be healthy.
The most funny thing is going with friends to some tapa’s bars here in Madrid. I just use to drink a herbal infussion while they are eating, drinking and talking about food and recipies. I enjoy it a lot. It’s like having a new perspective of life.
Also it’s curious, during the program I liked to smell foods and go to groceries for a walk, as a visual entertainment. Also, I kept buying cookware. I guess I’m getting prepared for my new healthy lifestyle.
Thanks for the webpage.

You know it’s funny you say you like to smell food. Me too! I really enjoy the smell of dishes I enjoy eating. When I get a craving I just smell my boyfriend plate and I’m good to go. It’s a wonderful thing. :)
