Lemonade Diet – Day 7 – Don’t Quit Now
Posted on 22. Apr, 2009 by Mike in My Experience, The Master Cleanse
Sometimes you will miss eating and crave eating again. The psychology of this process can be strange. You may occasionally, or even frequently, have thoughts of quitting. But you also know you can do it. Perhaps, to distract your mind, you move on to something else, playing mental gymnastics to calculate how much longer you have to go; how good you feel now, and how good you will feel after the lemonade diet. You begin to develop the strength to deny those cravings (beer, chocolate, etc.) that are just means to make yourself feel better, wants not needs. Some of the time you feel powerful, some of the time you feel weak. In some ways, it’s like training for hockey. So much running or lifting weights – there are times you want to quit, yet you push on through, finding your groove and leaving behind those doubts. And the feeling afterwards is so uplifting.

Lemonade Diet Day 7
I am, like others posted, disappointed with the amount of weight loss so far. I did not ease in, just went straight for the fasting and lemonade. I started at 182 and the scale that said 174 two days ago now says 176… grr.. I seemed to have reached a plateau. I just started the SWF yesterday morning. I wonder if that has anything to do with the plateau. This morning was the second successful SWF and I think I will take this tool with me for after I am off of the diet as I have always struggled with regularity.
Going to day 10 then beginning to ease off will be difficult for me considering that I don’t have any more weight loss on the scale as encouragement. If I have lost all I am going to why bother continuing…. is that bad/negative? Just being honest…

Hi all. The end of day Seven draws to a close and Im still with it. This is my second Clense, during the last i quit smoking compleatly and was most pleased, this time I have had considered starting again because I developed a cold on day two. My mind was already set to complete ten days so I had to see it through. Lying in bed with cold, flu and feeling hungry is not pleasent and where you may experience the hump on day three I became The Bastard. fortunately this is all be hind me now. I have lost 18.5 LBS and feel ok. I know that I will lose more before the end but I really have had enough Lemonade. Good luck to all who go on longer. I steeled myself for ten days and I will do it, but christ knows I will enjoy a pint when all is done.

LD Day 7. That paragraph really describes how I feel. I thought the mental battle with food was over on day 4 but it has returned. I was seriously considering giving up tomorrow but i will try to stick it through. Thanks to all for posting. it really helps. Is the 10the day the day you start drinking OJ? Or is that the 11th day?
