Diary Journal

July 1, 2011

Diaries and Journals have long been an extremely effective way to document your experience (obviously :), but also to provide the framework for success, the review for improvement and the motivation to continue. Today with websites, social media, blogs and forums, the diary journal has only become more effective. And so we to provide that framework for documenting your trials and tribulations in The Master Cleanse Group Cleanse Diary Journal.

Diary Journal Pages

These links will take you to the pages that you can journal in each day, by simply posting a comment on them. Everyone in the Group Cleanse will also diarize their experiences, and respond to yours. This forum has proved to be extremely effective in the success of thousands of Master Cleansers and Newbie Cleansers alike.

How to format Your Diary Journal

Each day, post a comment on each of the above diary journal pages. Start your main entry with a Milestone Indicator like:

Ease-In Day 1: I need some help. Has anyone every experienced…

or

Lemonade Diet – Day 3 –> Today was another great day, I…

As long as you preface your primary entry with that, we can track your entry and better organize it for the benefit of others. You can post as much as you like, on any page you like. In fact you’ll get points for nearly every interaction you take. But if you want to qualify for the grand prize, you’ll need to post each day, on each diary journal topic, and preface it with that Milestone title.

Diary Journal Examples: For Inspiration

Our book, Master Cleanse Me (to be published later this year), is in part a compilation of the experiences of the most popular, and helpful Group Cleansers’ Diary Journals from the last 10 quarterly Group Cleanses. When you buy Master Cleanse Me, you’ll also get the bonus Diary Journals from past Group Cleanse Leaders. Here is a little bonus for you, to aid you in your own journalling. Day 1 MC-COMPLETE. Phew! Today was a looooong day. But I made it through. I remind myself of the ‘hard’ days listed in the Road Map. I felt heavy lidded again today but not tired. The word I like to use is unhurried.
Work went fine. A couple of times the smells of food caught me but I quickly pushed it out of mind. (I work in a restaurant). I enjoy drinking my Peppermint tea @ work; it’s refreshing and warming.
Tomorrow morning will be my first SWF. Not sure how to view the upcoming event after reading experiences. I will let you know.

    We can do it!

I am excited and nervous at the same time about starting my first MC. I’ve been debating when to start, wanting to do it sooner than later. I felt like just jumping right in but after reading a lot and viewing some of the videos I concluded that easing myself in would be best. So I going to go with the default Jan. 6 for ease-in day 1.
I can’t wait! Got most everything I need, still need to fill up my water jug. The day before the Lemonade begins I will gather my Limes (they’re free and organic from my Mom’s tree…yay!)
Look forward to reading everyones experience in the diary pages.

The first time I did this cleanse, I did the swf. I honestly had better results the second time I did this cleanse by using only laxative tea and super cleanse laxative tablets.

    Ease-Out Day 1

I am so happy. No SWF tonight. How cool is that. Yeah, the OJ is delicious and all, but the real thing is: no more SWFs! Yay.

Before this started, I was going back and forth and had pretty much decided not to do it. Then I talked to (of all people) my brother who’s an MD (slightly less of a big pharma mercenary than most) and he said I should go for it. OK, he didn’t exactly say that. He said people have been fasting and cleansing and purging for millenia and his opinion was that it can’t be a bad thing. So here I am on Ease-Out Day 1 and it’s pretty cool how supportive he was of this. (Lots of people just think I’m a big nut.) I told my brother I was all done and he suggested that as long as I have an empty gut I take some probiotics to repopulated it with good beneficial critters. So I went out and bought a (rather pricey!) bottle of probiotic capsules. They have 14 different critters in each capsule and 10 of them begin with lactobacillus.

I’m wondering when I ought to repeat this cleanse. 3 months? 6 months? A year? Never? Oh well – not something I want to think about today! But I am wondering what others do as far as MC frequency.

I’m on day 7 of my cleanse. I plan on doing this every 6 months, in the spring and fall. I think it should be done at least once a year and the optimum time to do so would be in the spring as it is the time of “Awakening.”

    Lemonade Diet Day 10

Hooray for the summer Group Cleanse. Truth is I would not have even started this if it weren’t for this site and this community. Thanks and good luck to all!

Tomorrow morning I get to drink my first orange juice! It’s fun that this cleanse makes me look so forward to what would normally be such a minor thing (drinking OJ in the morning.)

Phew – just 3 more of these SWFs to go. I am not sure which I am looking forward to more: eating food, or not SWFing anymore.

Congrats to every one who is on Day 10 today! Happy OJ to y’all.

    Ease-In Day 3 …
I begin MC tomorrow. I am nervous, because I have attempted to use MC before and have fallen to temptation and given up. I am hoping that this will mean a new beginning, a stronger one, and a lasting one.

    Anxious for tomorrow to begin.

Good Luck. I am doing a 20 day cleanse and using none of the maple syrup. It will be rough but I truly feel that the benefits will out weigh the will to quit the cleanse. Im on day 4 so far…
