Diary Journal

July 1, 2011

Diaries and Journals have long been an extremely effective way to document your experience (obviously :), but also to provide the framework for success, the review for improvement and the motivation to continue. Today with websites, social media, blogs and forums, the diary journal has only become more effective. And so we to provide that framework for documenting your trials and tribulations in The Master Cleanse Group Cleanse Diary Journal.

Diary Journal Pages

These links will take you to the pages that you can journal in each day, by simply posting a comment on them. Everyone in the Group Cleanse will also diarize their experiences, and respond to yours. This forum has proved to be extremely effective in the success of thousands of Master Cleansers and Newbie Cleansers alike.

How to format Your Diary Journal

Each day, post a comment on each of the above diary journal pages. Start your main entry with a Milestone Indicator like:

Ease-In Day 1: I need some help. Has anyone every experienced…

or

Lemonade Diet – Day 3 –> Today was another great day, I…

As long as you preface your primary entry with that, we can track your entry and better organize it for the benefit of others. You can post as much as you like, on any page you like. In fact you’ll get points for nearly every interaction you take. But if you want to qualify for the grand prize, you’ll need to post each day, on each diary journal topic, and preface it with that Milestone title.

Diary Journal Examples: For Inspiration

Our book, Master Cleanse Me (to be published later this year), is in part a compilation of the experiences of the most popular, and helpful Group Cleansers’ Diary Journals from the last 10 quarterly Group Cleanses. Lemonade Diet Newbie– Day 3 –> The first two days seemed to be a breeze for me. The SWF wasn’t really doing what I thought it would do. I think I was expecting some major flush from what I read, but Everyone is different I suppose. Last night I upped the salt and it did work. This morning it worked well too. Tonight I’m going to try my tea and see if there is much of a difference in what’s expelled (hehe). I’m finding this much easier than I thought it would be, especially since I didn’t easy into this detox. I did physically & mentally prepare (cleaned out my house of bad foods, posted inspirational stuff around my house and office space, bought a small journal to take notes, and got my support team informed and cheering me on. I’m down a total of 3.5 lbs which is also motivating me as well.

I’m happy to have found you all, this is definitely a boost in this process. Good luck everyone! We can do this.

Day 2 of the MC diet. feeling great. I was out for 12 hours yesterday. I had enough drinks to last me. I drank water in between. I don’t feel tired, and I have alot of energy. Yesterday my friends wanted to know what I was drinking. I told them about the master cleanse. One of my classmates decided they wanted to try. I told them about the website and to check it out. I showed them my before and after pics, because this is my 2nd master cleanse. They were amazed!!

Master Cleanse Day 1: This is my first time to master cleanse. I’ve been fasting for 24 hours a week for about three weeks and I also started eating mostly raw foods about 4 weeks ago (minus of course this weekend when I indulged myself a bit). Anyway, I went to work today and felt ok. No cravings really. Did my SWF and that filled me up for some time. I put way too much cayenne in my first drink, but it was still bearable. Now though, I’m at home and sooo tired. It’s not easy feeding the kids and drinking my lemonade. Definitely still better than I expected though. I’m a little worried about Day 2 because I feel so drained today. Anyway please wish my luck. It’s great to be doing this with a group. It’s nice to know that I can be encouraged by the comments, and learn from them. Wishing you all well and an easy cleanse. I’m sure I’ll sleep early tonight. I’ll be checking in tomorrow. Bye for now.

Day 1 lemonaide Diet. Ok just did the salt water flush with warm almost hot water. It actually taste alot better this way. During my first master cleanse I did it with cold water and couldn’t stand it. Now I actually like it. Please advice people to do it with warm or hot water because its just like having soup. Last night I did the laxative, I woke up 4am, and had one movement. Did the SWF at 5am, now just got to wait til nature calls. I have to leave the house for school at 7:45am, so hopefully now more movements after that, I have a 2 hour travel to get to school. (I am traveling from state to state, NJ to NY for school.)

    Day 1 MC
So the tea worked well lol. I just finished my first lemonade… pretty good. I read that you need to keep the lemons at room temp so their enzymes are active. I woke up today to my freezing basement suite and some pretty cold lemons. I used some warmer water so that should help. The Cayenne is really warming me up too.I heard it is great for circulation, which I need because according to my boyfriend my feet are freezing :)
I’m kinda bummed that I have to work today. One of the girls called me last night and asked me to cover a shift. I was hoping to spend today reading and napping… Oh well at least I work at a Vitamin and Herb store so there are healthy vibes there.
I’m interested to see how my first SWF goes. I am just going to do it every other day and switch out with herbal laxative pills. I read that the Salt water flush kills all the bacteria living in your intestines, so I already bought some probiotics from work to use for afterwards.
I’m going to end this with some reasons for doing this to inspire me and maybe you guys too. 1. While fasting the natural process of toxin excretion continues, while the influx of new toxins is reduced, resulting in a reduction of total body toxicity…. 2. The energy usually used for digestion is redirected to immune function, cell growth and eliminatory processes.. 3. Due to a lowering of serum fats the that thins the blood, tissue oxygenation is increased and white blood cells are moved more efficiently …4 Fat-stored chemicals, such as pesticides and drugs are released. (big reason why some of you get headaches btw) 5. Due to the effects of fasting, a fast can help you heal with greater speed; cleanse your liver, kidneys, and colon; purify your blood; help you lose ecess weight and water; flush out toics; clear the eyes and toungue; and cleanse the breath…. Peace out fastys ;)

Day 3 MC: I had a horrible headache by the end of the first day and continued at a less intense level on day two, today I barely feel any pressure. I haven’t had any intense cravings, just thoughts here and there. I keep expecting this to get worse. I guess I still have 7 days left.

I’ve had a terrible headache the first two days, today is the third and I’m not feeling so bad but yesterday was dreadful, I was going to stop the fast today but am feeling better so am going to keep going. I’ve been having trouble as I have a salt sensitvity/allergy so cannot do the salt cleanse. Maybe that’s why I’ve been feeling so bad. Still hopefully it will get better as the days go on!
